I work at a gun shop and never saw this gun til the other day when a customer wanted to look at it. Liked it so much from showing the customer I bought one.
I own a Glock 19, a SIG 365 and just picked up the 320 x-compact (w/ Romeo optic). After a couple days at the range with this same weapon, it is my favorite. It’s one of the most robust featured handguns out of the box and the results I’ve had at the range were impressive. Highly recommended.

I remember seeing this one closer to when it 1st came out. I bought it, liked a bit more then the P320RX. Now I bought an xchange kit for it to make it a 357sig. Have yet to try it out with this mod due ot the ranges being closed for Covid-19.
Great informative video on the Sig Sauer P 320 X Compact RDP! I have the Sig P 320 X Compact, I purchased back in May last year. I upgraded with a APEX Trigger Bar, Gray Gun Flat Trigger and laser cut modular black frame. Like you I love how it feels in your hands and great trigger. Not have the opportunity obtaining a Red Dot let, maybe some time in future. I do have the Gas Peddle, haven’t used it much. I feel that more for range shooting and competition shooting, hard to find a holster for it. But for me its a lot of fun using it at the range. Just ordered it, can't wait to get it this week, and get to the range. It'll be my first experience with a red dot on a pistol, but I intend to make it my EDC. Selling my P320 compact and P2022 to add it to the stable. Good luck with yours, and good review!

Nice to see you enjoy a Sig..I love mine..Bought it when they first came out..LOVE the trigger and it fits my hand like a glove..I have smaller hands,but it fits great..The only gun I own that beats it ergo wise is my HK VP9...It is a little snappy though..I need more practice with it,but its fun to shoot and accurate..

Great Video , I was going to get the FN509 MRD because I already the Regular Sig P320X Compact and I didn't want another one . But it looks like I'm getting another one . Sig just makes the most beautiful guns .
I have recently received my ccw licence approval and I am so torn between the x carry and the x compact. What a romeo 2 optic on either one. Also I like the longer slide for better velocity, but the x compact is more concealable. I know I can get a x compact and put on a x carry grip module or vice versa. I believe that any choice will be a good one.
Got the full size and its great . The xray 3 sights are the shit especially at night and the red dot is a sexy ass addition , flat faced trigger is great ,17 rounds to play with alot of holsters available. Great firearm
Good review! This new iteration is damn sexy! You should try out the Armory Craft p320 sport takedown lever, gives you nice control and isn't obscenely large.
The springy feeling on the reset will dissipate after a few rounds. I dont think you will feel the need to swap out trigger either. Wish I could see your face after you fire this thing. You're gonna be very happy with its performance. I was extremely happy.

I just purchased the very last one available on the entire planet !!! ... I have spent hours and hours and hours searching the entire Internet and every gun shop in a 100 mile radius. I even ordered one from a local gun shop website that had said they had one in stock on their site, but they had to refund my money because they didn't actually have one. I finally found one other website that said they had one "In stock", I ordered it Sunday, on Monday morning their website said "Out of stock". They weren't open on Monday so I finally got in touch with them this afternoon just to double check the order because I am very skeptical that they actually have it. Fortunately, the young lady checked on the order and said "Yep, they just pick it out of stock and it should ship out today or tomorrow" .. so, if I do indeed get it shipped to me, I think I will have purchased the only currently available P320 RXP on the planet !!! ... whew! .. that was a close one! .. I am so excited to get this gun!!! .. can hardly stand it .. I have a P365 that I currently carry, and my wife has a little P238 that she just loves. I am expecting to be totally in love with this P320 RXP .. can't wait!!!
You'll need a shroud kit for that. As far as Holosun, it's a taller height sight body wise as compared to Trijicon's RMR. Mine cowitness just fine with supplied suppressor height night sights.
I have the xCompact with the Romeo 1 Pro and while I don't enjoy the raised rear sights and get to cowitness as you can with the RXP it is at it's hard the same gun and I absolutely love it!!! I've put more than 2000 rounds through mine, everything from Tula to Gold Dot and everything in between and the unit hasn't burped once, not one failure to feed or eject, it's been flawless and while this is my first Sig (never bought one for the same reason I never bought a Glock, like to be a different I guess) I can tell you my next gun will be a Sig and I'll likely break down and get that Glock 23 I've been eying for a while now after I've seen all the aftermarket stuff available for the Glock, it's endless and you end up with something truly unique and your own with both Sig and Glock with everything that's out there now. Let's hope it doesn't all go away with Hiden Biden coming into office with a gun grab.

I got one but went with the Delta Point Pro. It's my EDC. I love the way the gun shoots and it's run flawlessly...but when handling my x compact, I notice if I pull the slide to the rear it stutters right before the slide lock and you have to pull harder to get it to go all the way back. Then when you let the slide forward, it gets to a point where it jumps forward like the recoil spring is getting stuck at a certain point. IDK. I've put over 600 rounds through it though, almost all steel case wolf and it ran just fine.
If you get the gas pedal for it would love a video on it! Also holster options are quite limited, especially for those of us who put an Olight on, you have any holster for it?
I just bought a used x carry I’m not too worried about putting a dot on it but if I do theirs a dot that is notched as the rear sight but irons are good

I am actually going to sell my X Compact because I made the mistake of not buying the one where the sights cowitness. It's great but I don't see much use when I can carry my P01. But yea all I'm missing is anything being optics ready.

However, SIG's optics suck; they are low quality and there are too many reports of breakage and sudden failures. SIG really is doing us a disservice in not making their optics-ready guns with multiple optic options such as the RMR or Holosun for choices. I acquired an after market optics plate/rear sight adapter for the X5 and put a Holosun on it rather than go with the shitty Romeo 1 or the slightly less shitty Delta Point ...
Solid info. How would you compare this with the P365 XLRomeoZero? I just converted my P365 Regular with an XL frame w/ safety cutout. For me, (with this XL frame addition and mod) this is the best EDC ever created. Stay safe and well.
The X Compact is my favorite compact pistol. Sig got it right! Along with my P 365 I'm in 9 mm heaven. I will say the P 10 S is right there with the X Compact. The Sig just fits my small hand a little bit better! Glad your over Glock Syndrome, it's worse than the Corona Virus! LOL..........
Just picked mine up today. In NJ. Cannot wait to shoot it. I just wanted the x compact but there was no supply. Reloderz NJ oonly had the RXP amd when I saw the co wittnesing, the credit card flew out of the wallet on its own.
I thought the romeo1pro had integrated rear sight to co-witness, just like the p365xl + Romeo zero. Is that not the case then? Do you need these suppressor sights to co-witness?
Looking for an original X CARRY slide in coyote tan. Anyone know where I can get one of the original slides with a lightning cutout? I bought mine in late 2019 and it didn't come with one unfortunately, and I'd love to find one in the coyote tan.
Maybe one day I'll try a 320..my Sig 365 I bought last week has such a crappy, gritty trigger..shoots great but that "thud" when the trigger breaks sucks. Least crisp snap I've ever felt..selling it today. I fnally picked up a Steyr MF yesterday.. it's awesome.
I'll bet that feeling is dry firing it? Doesn't feel that way when shooting. With a mocro compac the striker spring doesn't have much travel because of it's tight tolerance's. You don't feel it in larger pistols because that spring has more travel and a heavier spring is used. Physics.....
C Kim Yeah, I agree. Plus people should be pulling triggers faster and not bulls eye shooting. You’re not going to slowly pull a trigger in self defense, yet that’s how most people train. 1 shot every 3 seconds. Pull the trigger fast and all you will notice between triggers is the pull weight. Just my 2 cents.
I ended up getting the CZ p10c optics ready instead of the Sig P320 X-compact because of two reasons,1st one is that Sig optics haven"t proved to be as good as others and 2nd i don"t like the round indicator on the back of the barrel, it gets gases on the optic very quickly and you can"t see through it.if it wasn"t for that i would have gotten it. its a very nice gun.if they get rid of the port in the barrel i will get one for sure.
I have the P10C and this gun. I absolutely love both. But you can use the Delta Point Pro on it as well! As far as the P10C being better, IDK. They are BOTH quality guns
Yes I agree, I see the p320 x5 legion has done away with the port in the barrel so I bet the X compact will too and I will get one. I’m also thinking about getting the X5 legion too.
I'm very close to pulling the trigger on this. I'm more of a Glock guy but I held this at the gun store today and absolutely fell in love melted in my hand... They have it on sale for $999 after owning this gun for about a year do you think it's worth it at that price and what are your thoughts currently overall?

Try Sig p229 enhanced elite compact. Same 3.9 barrel slightly shorter over all length not a polymer frame...has a stainless frame Sig sells the rx slide with the romeo one mounted on it 😉 unless you prefer plastic?

If they would add the x grip undercut to the standard P320 grip i would much prefer that. Overall I like the original P320 grip the best. However, I have got away from the P320 overall. Still think they are good weapons, but not for me.
Good call on not fully trusting the P365. I've tested more P365 than anybody and I've always had some small minor to big issues with all of them. Lucky for everyone that the new Hellcat has beaten the P365 in everything. Recoil, ergos, sights, capacity, RELIABILITY, ammo variety consumption, price and cosmetics all with the same concealment.....everything. I still don't fully trust any P320 model. I've had some issues with many and there's too many reports of people getting shot by their own P320 for me to carry. I love shooting them down the range, but I'll probably never carry one or use it for home defense. I fully trust my 1989 West German made Sig 226, over 40K rounds and it's never failed me yet.
ReachBlows Dick Interesting. I think the P365 got a free pass. If Remington or Taurus had released that gun and had just 1 problem it would be called a pos and a failure. I kind of want to buy one just to have an honest opinion, but I have way to many other things that I want 😂. Haven’t had any issues with my P320 RX yet. The more I shoot my Hellcat the more I like it.
I don't know where in Ulster County you live, but the times I have been through there I seen a lot of vacant land. I think they have state owned land out Route 28. I think you need to look a little harder and you can probably come up with a place to shoot. Who knows when this virus thing will be over.
As far as I know ergonomically it has not changed at all from last year's model and on this particular model you do not lose cowitness so you'll actually have the use of your rear sights with your optic
1776 or Bust looks like sig wants you to buy the rxp only to have the separated rear sight with the red dot smh. Xcompact only will lose the rear sight if they want ever want to put a red dot.
Icarus Precision I did a review on it check it out if you can people have complained it's a bit pricey but after looking online to see somebody stipple and cerakote of plastic grip in my opinion and aluminum grip makes a lot of sense on the carry model
I bought one of these a month before the corona run on guns started. I have about 600 rounds shot with it and 0 issues so far. Higher bore axis, lol, if that is the only reason someone can’t shoot well that can be fixed with shoot more. This gun is the first pistol my 13 year old has shot and his first mag(15 rounds) at 20 yards on a 8 inch steel plate where all hits and his follow up shots were only a second apart. Out of the box, to me, this is the best gun.
Take the POS Romeo Red Dot....sell it on Ebay and put a Holosun 508T like your FN...that's what I did on my P 320 RX Compact. I also replaced my P320 RX compact grip module with a X-Compact grip module, but I decided the original RX compact grip module was better (by a long shot) than the X grip module...after I cut a finger grove and relieved the trigger guard. The RX grip is rounded and better follows the shape your hand makes while grasping the pistol. The X grip is square like a 2x4!
this and the 509 mrd are the most red dot ready. this is cheaper than 509 but with the 509 you can mount diff optics where as with this youre locked into the romeo.
How much was it? I will get that exact model you have ⬆ well it's more now. I paid for a 92x almost a grand with shipping and layaway payments I would wait until I watched that.

I love mine. The suppressor sights work great with the romeo 1 pro. I do like the trigger as well.

The Sig P320 rxp xcompact ships with a 6 MOA red dot. Sig makes the Romeo Pro 1 in a 3 or 6 MOA, but this particular handgun has the 6 MOA.

This gun has been my edc for almost the last year and I love it was a Smith&Weston guy but sig has changed my outlook

365 is xl is doable but the rxp is just really good
The X Compact is my favorite compact pistol. Sig got it right! Along with my P 365 I'm in 9 mm heaven. I will say the P 10 S is right there with the X Compact. The Sig just fits my small hand a little bit better! Glad your over Glock Syndrome, it's worse than the Corona Virus! LOL..........
Just picked mine up today. In NJ. Cannot wait to shoot it. I just wanted the x compact but there was no supply. Reloderz NJ oonly had the RXP amd when I saw the co wittnesing, the credit card flew out of the wallet on its own.

I thought the romeo1pro had integrated rear sight to co-witness, just like the p365xl + Romeo zero. Is that not the case then?

Looking for an original X CARRY slide in coyote tan. Anyone know where I can get one of the original slides with a lightning cutout? I bought mine in late 2019 and it didn't come with one unfortunately, and I'd love to find one in the coyote tan.

Maybe one day I'll try a 320..my Sig 365 I bought last week has such a crappy, gritty trigger..shoots great but that "thud" when the trigger breaks sucks. Least crisp snap I've ever felt..selling it today. I fnally picked up a Steyr MF yesterday.. it's awesome.
I'll bet that feeling is dry firing it? Doesn't feel that way when shooting. With a mocro compac the striker spring doesn't have much travel because of it's tight tolerance's. You don't feel it in larger pistols because that spring has more travel and a heavier spring is used. Physics.....
C Kim Yeah, I agree. Plus people should be pulling triggers faster and not bulls eye shooting. You’re not going to slowly pull a trigger in self defense, yet that’s how most people train. 1 shot every 3 seconds. Pull the trigger fast and all you will notice between triggers is the pull weight. Just my 2 cents.

Finally a 320 that’s the “real deal”! Put a Romeo 1Pro and Wilson Combat grip on mine and carry it everywhere.
I ended up getting the CZ p10c optics ready instead of the Sig P320 X-compact because of two reasons,1st one is that Sig optics haven"t proved to be as good as others and 2nd i don"t like the round indicator on the back of the barrel, it gets gases on the optic very quickly and you can"t see through it.if it wasn"t for that i would have gotten it. its a very nice gun.if they get rid of the port in the barrel i will get one for sure.

I have the P10C and this gun. I absolutely love both. But you can use the Delta Point Pro on it as well! As far as the P10C being better, IDK. They are BOTH quality guns
Yes I agree, I see the p320 x5 legion has done away with the port in the barrel so I bet the X compact will too and I will get one. I’m also thinking about getting the X5 legion too.
What model is the Sig optic? The Romeo 1 is not highly thought of.

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on this. I'm more of a Glock guy but I held this at the gun store today and absolutely fell in love melted in my hand... They have it on sale for $999 after owning this gun for about a year do you think it's worth it at that price and what are your thoughts currently overall?

Try Sig p229 enhanced elite compact. Same 3.9 barrel slightly shorter over all length not a polymer frame...has a stainless frame Sig sells the rx slide with the romeo one mounted on it 😉 unless you prefer plastic?
229 RX legion is similar but all metal and feels so nice. Cerakote and slick. Obviously it shoots better than you (or I) can.

Honestly I think it's a perfect size for a concealed carry And as long as you are proficiant with the optic this would be a great carry for anyone

If they would add the x grip undercut to the standard P320 grip i would much prefer that. Overall I like the original P320 grip the best. However, I have got away from the P320 overall. Still think they are good weapons, but not for me.

Good call on not fully trusting the P365. I've tested more P365 than anybody and I've always had some small minor to big issues with all of them. Lucky for everyone that the new Hellcat has beaten the P365 in everything. Recoil, ergos, sights, capacity, RELIABILITY, ammo variety consumption, price and cosmetics all with the same concealment.....everything.
I still don't fully trust any P320 model. I've had some issues with many and there's too many reports of people getting shot by their own P320 for me to carry. I love shooting them down the range, but I'll probably never carry one or use it for home defense. I fully trust my 1989 West German made Sig 226, over 40K rounds and it's never failed me yet.

ReachBlows Dick Interesting. I think the P365 got a free pass. If Remington or Taurus had released that gun and had just 1 problem it would be called a pos and a failure. I kind of want to buy one just to have an honest opinion, but I have way to many other things that I want 😂. Haven’t had any issues with my P320 RX yet. The more I shoot my Hellcat the more I like it.
I don't know where in Ulster County you live, but the times I have been through there I seen a lot of vacant land. I think they have state owned land out Route 28. I think you need to look a little harder and you can probably come up with a place to shoot. Who knows when this virus thing will be over.

As far as I know ergonomically it has not changed at all from last year's model and on this particular model you do not lose cowitness so you'll actually have the use of your rear sights with your optic
1776 or Bust looks like sig wants you to buy the rxp only to have the separated rear sight with the red dot smh. Xcompact only will lose the rear sight if they want ever want to put a red dot.

Icarus Precision I did a review on it check it out if you can people have complained it's a bit pricey but after looking online to see somebody stipple and cerakote of plastic grip in my opinion and aluminum grip makes a lot of sense on the carry model

I bought one of these a month before the corona run on guns started. I have about 600 rounds shot with it and 0 issues so far. Higher bore axis, lol, if that is the only reason someone can’t shoot well that can be fixed with shoot more. This gun is the first pistol my 13 year old has shot and his first mag(15 rounds) at 20 yards on a 8 inch steel plate where all hits and his follow up shots were only a second apart. Out of the box, to me, this is the best gun.
Take the POS Romeo Red Dot....sell it on Ebay and put a Holosun 508T like your FN...that's what I did on my P 320 RX Compact. I also replaced my P320 RX compact grip module with a X-Compact grip module, but I decided the original RX compact grip module was better (by a long shot) than the X grip module...after I cut a finger grove and relieved the trigger guard. The RX grip is rounded and better follows the shape your hand makes while grasping the pistol. The X grip is square like a 2x4!
what mounting plate works on the rxp?
this and the 509 mrd are the most red dot ready. this is cheaper than 509 but with the 509 you can mount diff optics where as with this youre locked into the romeo.
