Yeah. The Eradicator's eyes couldn't tolerate the sun's bright light so instead of having heat vision he projected energy blasts from his hands.
Shouldn't Enchantress be able to keep Zod in check? Kryptonians are vulnerable to magic, right?
I have two things to say:
1. Zod is metal as fuck.
2. Honest question here, isn't the mirror supposed to melt against the heat vision?
a long time ago it was established that Superman's radiation extends a little past his skin which is why his clothes are as bulletproof as his body. maybe Zod was standing really close, like nose pressed up like a pig against the mirror lol
ting280 The whole "ptotective force field" idea has been pretty thoroughly dropped for years, now. I think it's actually been like 2 or 3 DC-reboots since they even mentioned it. It was hardly used past that specific series run, and it has been completely absent from the character since even before Nu52. Superman's clothing getting easily ripped and destroyed is a regular occurance, now.
everyone knows mirrors reflect lassssers... lol jk he's probably just reflecting a concentrated blast like supes does when he shaves, glass has a fairly high melting point and he's just using a minuscule area when he was doing it so it probably could hold up
bythepowerofoa mirrors absorb a tiny, miniscule fraction of light but enough energy to absorb and eventually be melted by. The common place ones we buy aren't perfect reflectors of light.
Raqebur Rahman: Because comics. If Superman can shave himself with mirrors I´m sure Zod could pass minutes focusing his heat vision on this area of his head, changing the area of the mirror before it could melt, afterall, they can see the change in molecular level... ;-)

Remember as part of the revised Superman origin, The Legion of Super Heroes from the 30th Century took Clark during his teens to the future and help train him to use his powers. The Three Legionaires were Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl. Lightning Lad is captured & imprisoned by Mr. Oz with Tim Drake, The Original Flash, Doomsday, Waverider and others; and Saturn Girl is imprisoned at Arkham Asylum in the 21st Century.
KNEEL BEFORE ROB.. and then listen to his buttery voice as he explains things that most of us wouldn't take the time to read but is otherwise entertaining.
I really loved the end with Zod's comments to Amanda, it gives him more complexity, but it also served to give her some introspection for her to question her own methods and extremism.

if any one watched the superman doomsday animated movie. witch showed putting a green kryptonite bomb in side a kryptonian head is not going to work because all they have to do is find a mirror and use heat vision to bur a hole to get to boom and remove it. i do not think amanda waller was thinking that one throw, trying to control a man with the same powers as superman that is going to back fire big time.

Here's a Suicide Squad 2 movie plot idea.
The Squad has to retrieve a sarcophagus, but the camera never shows to audience who it is until the end of the movie. Where Lex, Vandal Savage and The Brain (I hope to see him Live-Action some day) open it to reveal, Cyborg Superman.

Rob... oh Rob... So if this is the Pre-New 52 General Zod (because he was in the Phantom Zone with his armies), how is he in the New 52 landscape? Does the Phantom Zone outside of time and space? Are there many portals to escape from that take you to different universes? Hmmm...
Jesus do I feel old compared to some of these comments. I remember reading Death of Supes, then we got Superboy, Steel, Cyborg and Eradicator. Anyone know if -this- Eradicator is from that timeline? Yeah he was destroyed but y'know. Because comics.

The one problem is there is a _major_ discrepancy with Hank Henshaw's New 52 History. In Team 7 it was stated he started with that project five years ago *but* in Superman: Lois and Clark #1 he was returning from a 10 year mission Jupiter.
Another strange discrepancy is Hank Henshaw remembers landing with his four companions (as in the New Earth history) but he was alone on the ship that the New Earth superman intercepted.
Bruce Grubb Maybe it was on purpose, but I doubt it. Team 7 is in the past (not in he beginning of The New 52), but i don't think this makes the discrepancy. The other one is just a small continuity error I think, there's a lot of other ones

Rob correct me if I'm wrong superman has a healing factor, point being when green kryptonite is remove from him he heals instantly. Wouldn't this mean that kryptonite has some type anti healing factor. And question does it only apply to kryptonians.

Wait. So does this happen before or after action Comics vol.4?? Cuz that showed everything with cyborg supes rounding everybody up and then them going to get Zod and ends with Zod getting his wife Ursa out of the phantom zone. So why would it show cyborg supes and eradicator getting pulled OUT of the phantom zone here in this if they didn't get put IN there until action comics vol.4 - revenge squad??? So is this before all of that then? You make it sound like this is afterword, but then it doesn't show him with his wife, And that's how revenge squad ended, Him getting her out and running away with her and their son to regroup and what not and to come back and fight another day.
So basically DC dropped the mystery of what happened to Henshaw and his crew when he came back from a shuttle mission with everyone dead/missing?

Supes absolutely has a gate to the PZ in his fortress. Zod doesn't know. I'm not sure if the two Supermen know either. but they'll find out eventually.
