Our earlier mats could sometimes leave a bit of teak oil on the shower pan, but this is easy to clean with a general purpose cleaner-I know because this happened with our teak shower mat too! The new-generation teak mats we developed have a finish which eliminates the problem entirely. To clean teak oil off our Globetrotter shower pan I used a Method brand general cleaner and a paper towel. Remember to NEVER use anything abrasive in the shower pan or you risk scratching it.
