Some 1980s songs conjure up distant postive emotions for me. Feelings of freedom and innocence and a happier life. A life covered in the distant dust of time but a life we would like to brush off and experience again perhaps? Nostalgia and a healthier life that was simpler, enjoyed for the moment and in the moment. A journey, a loved one, a place, a time. This song is one that takes you there, if only for a moment... To be cherished for ever.
“I choose never to forget, I want our lips to kiss and our limbs to entwine, let our bodies be twisted but never our minds” The most beautiful lyrics in a love song I’ve EVER heard! Thank you Alison x
A rich and mature voice, from a lady who never had to strut about with barely any kit on, to show what talent that oozed from every vocal sound. Looking back and hearing this after so many years, shows that good music and good voices stay fresh for ever and a day.

This is a great song. I’ve watched it several times over the last few weeks with a smile . The video makes me smile and feel sad too . Everyone is playing their part and happy. Reminds me of some of the jobs I’ve had in the past where every moment was fun. If your lucky to experience moments like that at work treasure them. These moments tend to pass too quickly. You need the right people, the right time and the happiness flows like a river. 😊
I recognise the little jumping people at 3:00 from the old electronic scoreboard that stood at the top of the big open Vicarage Road end terrace at Watford FC for the entire 80s and early 90s!
I'd forgotten about her until I heard her name pop up on an episode of Coronation Street & suddenly I remembered how much I loved her music as a teenager. I wonder what ever happened to her...
This video is like time travel for me. The magnificent Alison Moyet was filmed on the beach at Carlyon Bay near St Austell in Cornwall which was home then to the Cornwall Coliseum, the venue that brought all the top names in music to the extreme south west ... including, of course, the utterly beautiful and oh-so talented Ms Moyet. I was there the day this was filmed. The 'ship wreck' Alison and the band were playing in had actually been constructed on the beach as a set for the 1979 film version of Dracula with Frank Langella and Laurence Olivier. Amazing memories of an amazing day!
The Coliseum is now knocked down unfortunately :( shame really as now have to travel to Plymouth to see some big names! Lucky to see acts at Eden if they don't sell out quick

You cannot not like this song, 80s best music around, very catchy music! - WithoutUHere xx
One of the best songs of the 80s
This is a great song. I’ve watched it several times over the last few weeks with a smile . The video makes me smile and feel sad too . Everyone is playing their part and happy. Reminds me of some of the jobs I’ve had in the past where every moment was fun. If your lucky to experience moments like that at work treasure them. These moments tend to pass too quickly. You need the right people, the right time and the happiness flows like a river. 😊
I was there
Great words John!!💙💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏

I recognise the little jumping people at 3:00 from the old electronic scoreboard that stood at the top of the big open Vicarage Road end terrace at Watford FC for the entire 80s and early 90s!
1986, I was 15, life was so easy and happy. I miss those days so much. Why does every fucking thing have to be so difficult when you grow up?
I was 18 in 1986 and had to start being an adult.Got a job a car and had to be responsible according to my parents to say!!!!
Face and voice of an angel, what a beauty.
What a voice ❤️❤️❤️
Britians best singer ever
I'd forgotten about her until I heard her name pop up on an episode of Coronation Street & suddenly I remembered how much I loved her music as a teenager. I wonder what ever happened to her...
Allison Moyet is a great singer, this song is so underrated. It's a great tune, ❤ it, ❤ her.
Greatest female artist ever.dont care what anyone says.#1❤🇮🇪
Most lovely artist of the 80's. Always Beautifull!!
Im a 70s child ,,loved her back in the 80s and still in love with her today. Omg
Alison Moyet is awesome and incredible and this song is one of her best.
Is This Love?
You bet it is! 💖
I love Alisons voice unmistakable and unique
Alison Moyet is a class act.
Forever,👋💘💔
Alison Moyet forever!
One of my favourite songs from the 80's, music was so good back then.
The music, her looks , Modern music just can’t compete with this , timeless classic from a beautiful person .
