This show was pure genius and magic. The way they start off singing, go into a quip-fest that somehow still has an undercurrent of love because of body language and eye contact, then always circles back to joyous singing together, just genius and wonderful entertainment.
Sonny and Cher.......I loved your show so many years ago. Cher, in 1965 I was a freshman in college with real long dark brown hair. Before I even met the guys, they were calling me Cher and I was so excited as I was already hooked on you. Just found these on youtube tonight, 2024. I will definitely play a lot of these. You were both so funny. Cher, I hope you are OK. I think you must be around the same age as you are ( I am 76 years old ). So glad you are sharing these with us, your fans for a long time. Such happy memories..it’s nice to be able to travel back in time, and even tho knowing that the marriage didn’t last, the joy between these two is still as contagious now as it was watching them way back when I was a little kid.
Never been happier than watching these shows....my childhood---the cause of my suffering in these so called "modern times" (thought women like Cher were out there to have such a connection with) so glad for CZcams for this---I am going to watch these shows when I am in the old folks home and even in hospice--everyone can suck eggs
You know, their musical talent wasn't all that wonderful, but their charisma and sense of humor was so great that nobody cared how they sounded when they sung!! Miss them days!!❤
I loved during her eulogy when she said people thought he was a joke.....because he was strong enough to be the butt of the joke, because he created the joke..........I think they were like my parents (same time frame) they adored and loved one another so much.....Still? He was who he was...She was who she was.....and being together became more pain than passion............beautiful but sad ....very glad this show was a great piece of my childhood

Sonny's voice might have not been so great but Cher's voice was OUTSTANDING!
