This is another homemade digital clock. I designed it with Fusion 360 and printed it on my 3D printer. It took many hours of printing. I've also created a new Android App that you can use to control it (more info on GitHub). I've used the same controller board that I've made for my other digital clock. At daylight it's not very bright, results are best at evening.

This is one of the best clock I have ever seen. Earlier was also from the same author but this is truly amazing.
That is a lot of work put into this project. Great job!
Simply amazing! I am fairly new to the Arduino, and still learning the basics. This was a very inspiring example of what can be done with the Arduino, a 3D printer , and an App.
This is still amazing to watch.... Thank you Leon 😀
That's a great project - kudos to you mate !
Thank you. You really perked my interest in this. Not only the electronics side but the 3D side. I am looking into the anet a8 as that seems to be the most fun to build and modify for some fun. I love the stuff you do, thank you very much. I wont be able to do so till maybe around xmas.
Thanks again. Love that cnc machine and the 14 segment display. try the 16 segment and lets make a digital clock out of that.

Hello,
I built this clock, it works fine. It was my first Arduino project, thank you Leon for your wonderful idea !
Incredible !! So beautiful and it open the door for so much adaptations. Thank you for sharing it !
I'm gonna try a six digit, as soon as I get pricing quoates from the service, I have no 3d printer
Awesome, you really love electronics, excellent work!
That's awesome mate.
Seems that I need to get 3D printer :)
Pawel Sikorski you and me both
Pawel Sikorski I'm getting one by christmas.
I got one just for this project, then I had seen and downloaded 3 more clock projects from thingiverse.
Fantastyczny projekt!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORT.
Awesome project!
Thanks 🙂
@@LeonvandenBeukel hello sir can you please tell me where I can find arduino coading
@@harshitrajsud9hridn Check the GitHub link in the description.
@@LeonvandenBeukel Its not in the repo
@@LeonvandenBeukel i will pay 20 dollars will you deliver it
Very cool and clever, great job!
Nice man... It looks awesome
New improvement from previous project? Great job, bro 👍👍👍
Yes, thanks 😊
Great work ! Thank you for that !
Looks great! It could be redesigned to make as an easily from recycled materials, recyclable commercial product at a relatively low cost.
Why are some people so talented. I feel so inadequate sometimes... 😆 Great work, love it.
Phantomthecat I'm the same way.
Clock
Super travail , bravo !!
Wow sir amazing project I like it am gunna gather the stuff and do it thank u very much for sharing
Hi! How to make the clock automatically switched from the clock to the temperature and back ?
I actually enjoyed this more than other similar videos because it doesn't say DIY in the title lol
I love 3D printers, they're just absent in my daily life xD
Great upgrade
What would be cool is to add some coding so that you can set night hours for the clock so when it’s like 8 pm till 6 am (or what ever you set, it only lights up soft colors or dim colors or if possible dulls the leds
You could by coding in an LDR
Wow! Cool project!
An amazing project.
Is it possible to set automatic switching between time-temperature and humidity ??
Hello. I want to repeat your project. Tell me how to connect segments correctly? and especially the points. Can you draw a detailed diagram of the connection of the segments?
hey I'm looking to build the clock you built from the 3d printer how do i get the program from you as it's amazing to watch...
So Beautiful. Thankyou!
That's awesome, great work!
A question I have printed it now I'm now wiring it and would like to know about the seconds leds would they be A30 and B31 the last in the string? And thanks it has been a great project
Erg mooi. I wonder how far you can stay from and still read it. It could be nice way to display time on the tower.
Juste merveilleux
muy bueno tus proyectos y gracias por el aporte que le haces a la comunidad!
Very nice watch and wonderful work. Was also a lot of work to create the app, many thanks for your work, I wish you all the best. Now I have to build the clock too, says my wife and I want her to hang in the living room. Have to work for me again. First had to make our table with WiFi LEDs and Alexa.
Nice works!
Awesome project you made me subscribe.
Thats amazing! I wanted to build such a clock either for a year or so maybe with a led square matrix... Now i want to start the project ;D
Done?
Ciklez lmfao .......waiting........
Aren't the dots in the middle supposed to blink in synchronization with the seconds on clock mode?
Very cool project! Do you know if you'll ever be sharing the Android code? Would be a great example of how to code both sides for BT. Thanks.
Intelligent in Action! Thanks!
my rgb leds are all on, there are several different color leds, how do you want to change it to a clock ... thanks
Hi Leon,
Thank you for your excellent project. By the way how to control the clock if we don't have an android phone ? :)
Regards
Great job, I really like it
what would be needed to change in the code to use twice the number of LED's so that each segment has 2 instead of one for the segments. for a larger display?
Really nice.
Hello. You can be asked to redo the app for the clock. When you start it gives many an error
I Still LOVE watching this to this day. Can't wait to give it a run. I will be ordering my anet a8 when I get my taxes back.
Thank You so very much, this is awesome.
BTW, have you thought about scaling this up for a bigger size on the bigger printers? I would love to see this on the anet a10
I love it!! thank you
wow ziet er vet uit :D , nu wil ik er ook één
Could you do a preview or good breakdown on your 3D printer. Like which 3D printers are the best
Hello, please write the full layout of connecting the LEDs together.
how are points connected?
Hey. Can who knows or faced a similar problem why in
Bluetooth Digital Clock App when you select a Bluetooth headset (HC-05) immediately the program closes ??????
Awesome.. I'm always envy those perfect 3d prints, I have a ender 3 and almost always my prints have issues.. I upgraded the extruder, hotend, the bed, the mainboard, stepper drivers, cooling and yet I can't have consistent results.
Hello, could you please help me to change the LED-settings in the code to make it work with 2 LED´s per segment? I tried almost everything, but I can´t get it to work.
Thank you!
I did it if you want
@@zoomboom3003 Can you share your ino.firmware
but with 1 led per segment?
The original ino in the github is with one led per segment!!!
@@zoomboom3003 can you share your code with me ?
The app does not work properly. I open the App but cannot use. It's out automaticly. Pls advice. thank.
Nice clock, my only concern would be you can not take it apart, so it is hard to service/expand. I would have attached the covers/diffusers to the back with screws so you can still access the LED's
3D Digital Clock Successful. Thank you very much.
Enjoying mine
Can you help abaout code? i want to change every 1minutes between clock, tempature and humudity.
Really nice project! I've another project for which I'm interested to use the HC-05. Is there any chance to see how you manage the communication on the android app?
Hi Leon, I built this according to your instructions. So the 3D printed parts and the electrical setup. The uploading to the Arduino has worked. The clock has also connected via bluetooth via smartphone and the time has been set. Now I have the following problem: 1. the separator ":" does not flash with me ! 2. it shows with not the temperature and humidity. Can you give me a tip there. Would be pleased about an answer.
If it’s not bright in daylight, have you made a new version that is? Or how should this be changed to be brighter?
Great project. Does anyone know how I can include the rainbow function instead of static colors?
Very cool. For the scoreboard, is it possible to have the right score in a different colour to the left score?
I like your style!
Thanks Marcel 😄
I don't know where to plug in the power because there's no power module like on your gifhub. Please show me how to plug the power
I like it , wonderful .... Thanks
I made it,and I worked first time,I am very pleased. Thanks
Awesome!
I got confuse with the order of the led..any tips?
Very cool!
Nice job
Hello ,
I have a compilation problem when I want to upload it to the arduino nano
I have the Timer library installed but it tells me a lot of error messages like: "error: invalid use of template-name 'Timer' without an argument list
"
can you help me, please
thank you
How to Set Without Bluetooth & Humidity Sensor, What changes made in Code, plz Replay
I was like huh.. he 3d printed it.. most people doesn't have it home.. if he would have made from card board or so than he would realize how tough it is.. but than I went to older videos.. Ohh man He already did that.. Kudos.. Buddy.. well done..
🙂👍
excellent work
Thanks Miguel ☺️
hello good day, I could support to build it, more than anything to load the code because I get error and the truth I do not know much about arduino
my project was unsuccessful, how do I set the led RGB color ... thnks
excelente!!! felicitaciones
Hello is there anyway for example that at 2pm the clock will read "2:00" Not "02:00" ? There has to be a code somewhere for that.
hello i want to use this clock without the phone.i want to change the mode after a delay.
can you help me?????????
you are grand!!!!!
Loved it
Thank you for share. I like that clock. I want print and make one.
Excellent... WOW
Really cool project! I'm thinking about building this clock, but can I control it also with a IPhone anyway? Or with a remote control on the arduino?
Hello sir hope u doing well
Sorry to bother u
But after u added the option for temp and clock and the dots
When I change from RGB to CONSISTENTLY CHANGING COLOR. It’s freezing I have to reset the board
The old code I didn’t have problem when I was changing the colors and RBG
Thank u
You’re a genius man
Excellent!
Hello I got it working sir thank u
I had to download Adafruit_sensor library and also I had to download Time_h library then it compiled
Thank u very much now I’ll start 3D print the material
Great project u always make professional
I always watch ur video
Thank u again and once am done I’ll share it here
hello sir,how about the led connection from 1 to 30.?
lino jr hello I think there is no wire connection diagram but am trying to figure that out through the video by stopping it and playing it to see how he is wiring it
Hey, did you figure out how to connect it? I am trying to make it atm and I am confised on how I should connect everything.
I try to put digital clock on ledstrip ws2812b led panel. Would you help me to write the code for arduino? Thankyou.
wooow that is awesome!
this is awesome.
дайте пожалуйста полную схему соединения светодиодов, а так же как подключать точки??? И какие выводы подключать к arduino?
Oh, that's good. That's REALLY good! About the only thing I'd add is to make the 7-segment's, uh, "segments" stand out better; there's a sort of "light bleed" between them and parts of the background. But outside of that, it's quite impressive, including the different displays (time, temp, etc.). "Ya done GOOD!"
(And wouldn't ya know it? I left my 3-D printer in my other pants! But once I get it out I'll get RIGHT on it!) :)
Yeah I like it "except" for that light-bleeding. And I've seen other ones that too could use a bit of work to make or minimize that object's "bleeding," in both light and dark. And as I recall it's more evident in lighted rooms; my GUESS is that's because of the ambient light which makes the room brighter so the LEDs get dimmer in comparison. But that's really just a guess (although it happens to US ALL the time; The words ""snow blind" are there for a reason, after all.) It "seems" possible to remove some it, but it might not be a "trivial" fix.
At one time I thought about building a clock just like that -- it seemed rather "simple." Yeah, right. Just LOOKING at the work Leon did and it's clear this ain't "simple" at all. (Hmmm, maybe THAT'S why I ask "Alexa" to find the time for me now.) ;)
many thanks for this great clock is this support 12hr clock
Really cool 😎! Love it & your other "DIY 7 Segment Digital clock". But it looks like you need to put in a lot of time and patience into it. Specially the coding side of it.
If you download the app, are you able to change the color of the "scoreboard" sides? Like to differentiate the teams?
Clock ki konsi wire ko laptop se joda please answer me
Danke!
you think you could publish your arduino sketch and C# source of your mobile app?
BTW: why do you have "van" in your middle name, I saw a lot of people from Dutch have that but I just don't know the purpose
hello i have 7 LED per digits how can i modifie the code arduno for working ?
Good job!
