  • I finally finish this video, took me over a year. Recorded the build process in the summer of 2018, only now finished the editing.
    Big thanks to the original song owners. I don't get any money for this video, so I hope they don't mind me using their stuff.

    When a video editor takes up word working. Lol, seriously though, love the video, and the build was very well done! Not normally a fan of stain, but in this case (see what I did there?) it works very nicely! I'll be curious to see how the wood holds up over time to the great from the components.

    I love his build so I am making it. hold on being the lazy person I am. With a wine glass in my hand watching this ugly case. So the wine bottle case is my computer case ITX motherboard in hand. small it 550w amp. Double fan rx6650xt. Lazy and looks better with no paint stains or clean-up.A PC momentary button on the front cover. He has a great build. And a great setup.But I am lazy with a wine created on my desk

    Great video! I was about to make a similar project and you just gave a bunch of ideas on how to improve it. Edit: Also what wood thickness did you use?

    • @Orzelius
      @Orzelius  Před 2 lety

      Quite thick, more than 2cm if I remember correctly. I would recommend getting better quality wood than I did, because at the time I had very little money

    How have the timber and joints held up with constant variations of temperature from inside and out the case

    • @Orzelius
      @Orzelius  Před 4 lety

      The joints are and will be fine, as I got them nearly perfect, but the side panels did bend out a little, so I have gaps of about 2mm between the walls of the case and the side panels. If I had money for better quality and drier wood when I was building the thing the panels would also have stayed straight.

    Sir!.....nice job........but.........your cable management is awful, also you missed your chance on having those fans flushed into the wood by making square cut offs instead of those circles, also if you made them square you would had the option to have fan filters on them so that you wouldn't have to worry of dust inside the case. Why is the power supply with zip ties? either way, GREAT WORK! you can definitely upgrade the components (Noctua fans) inside later on and hopefully your cable management will look as good as this case does , maybe an update video later?

    • @Orzelius
      @Orzelius  Před 4 lety +1

      Yea, some parts of the build are really messy, but the truth is, I had only five days to build the thing and didn't have many tools that I would had liked to use. Noctua fans would definetly be a nice bonus.

    You can’t make a case of pc with metal cause metal is strong that break people hands or stuff

      @@Orzelius Doing a similar project soon. Do you think using pine would be a bad idea? A mate of mine tells me it will warp.

    • @Orzelius
      @Orzelius  Před 4 lety

      @@joe1168 Pine is a bad idea, thin pieces might break and thicker ones might wrap, I'd get better wood

    What was the hardest part in your opinion?

    • @Orzelius
      @Orzelius  Před 4 lety

      The back side of the case, cutting out the motherboard hole took a long time without proper tools and it was difficult to get the mounting mechanism working (like the one for the gpu). But all in all, the project wasn't really difficult.

    I did it myself with the Woodglut plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
