He is just very sad, misunderstood, neglected, and loved-deprived. I could compare him to maledicent (the live action one). A person who was wronged by the people they thought loved them, did bad things and then redeemed themselves and became better.

Around 8:28 and onward, when he says "together, we will fight those urges", it made me tear up a little bit. I don't know where that's from or if he's referring to something specific, but as someone with a history of self-harm, that really hit hard.

Same here.. not just self harm but depression and anxiety, the worst part is it wasn't just self harm I was/am dealing with, but this made me cry so hard tonight when I was just trying to sleep.

I don't know if that helps, but I really helped me fight through self harm urges and anxiety attacks. If I tell myself it will pass eventually and talk kindly to myself, it's so much easier to push through it. Sending love and support. 💗

I actually started tearing up, I had been 2 years clean then it got ruined because I had a mistake that I got overwhelmed about and started doing it again, I’m clean again and the scars are healing. This made me so happy

Um so I have insomnia and it usually takes me over 2 hours to fall asleep. I listened to this last night and was out in 15 minutes. This is amazing and I love it.
I hate sleeping alone and hearing Loki's voice in my ear melts my whole body. I'm relaxed, comforted and already dozing 5 minutes in. The part about fighting the urges together is so powerful for me. I used to self harm and even now I still feel those black thoughts sometimes. Knowing Loki has had his own share of black thoughts and pain comforts me tremendously.

Okay, so, this is my second year of college and there has been so much drama that we have been separated because of 1 person in my group. We were a group of 6 in year 1 which was going well but the first 2 weeks in college have been literal carnage and I feel a mess. Not me crying because i miss being loved. Got dumped in February... Getting the divorce settled....
I am sobbing. I didn't realize how much I needed to just hear someone remind me that I matter, that I am important and have someone believe in me. Its been difficult not only with the impending divorce but I am a single parent now and I've felt for at least 2 weeks consistently that my family hates me (depression, anxiety and postpartum depression together are a terrible combo). I just laid my 1 month old son back to sleep and I am sniffling and crying.
