This is Fabulous & I say this as a person who doesn't like a lot of different colors together on anything, plain no print shirts, tops, skirts or dresses! Bedspreads, sheets or curtains! But This, Wow, Amazing❤!!! All the color shades & print design, chefs kiss😘!!! Only two more pieces to go, maybe after aircon is installed😅?!!! (that's sweat on the lil emoji)
This piece is so wonderful and such a standout. You wouldn't want the other parts of the set to be the same -- it would cheapen them all, make them look manufactured. Maybe the other parts of the set could be sanded and painted a solid Weeping Willow green so they would connect but be more background.

Absolutely fabulous! When I saw the colour palette, it was completely unappealing to me. Watching you transform a plain dresser to mind blowing masterpiece proved how completely wrong I was. 18 months ago my soulmate of almost 40 years lost his battle with cancer. Since then, I've had no desire or motivation to get back to my sewing, painting, crafting, and thrift store furniture refinishing. DANIE THIS CAME OUT SO, SO BEAUTIFUL! My mom is Spaniard, and the designs remind me so much of Spanish motifs. This was gorgeous. And like, yeah the deadline gad to get pushed, but you put so much love and respect and effort into this project that was so worth it. Also Katelyn's quote about having a secret garden till you can build your own outside, funnily brought me to tears. I'm at a difficult point in my life where I'm already 32 years old but still living in a tiny little bedroom, and it's been making me depressed and restless. I recently started collecting and caring for plants, and they have brought me so much hope and joy. So Katelyn's words very deeply resonated with me in an ironically literal way❤

I'm building 180 drawers this week for a job. I have done 78 of them so far, and it took me a week, not to mention that I had to make the parts to build them from scratch.

It reminds me in the 90’s when I was painting all my own, my friends’ and finally customers’ pieces of furniture, yes, it takes a lot of time, even stenciling, and all the details, especially as I used to create my own stencils with some oiled Manila thick paper, but you’re right to go with these stencils which are more appropriate for what this viewer wants. In the 90’s, the theme was also: flowers, leaves, plants, gardens, birds, butterflies and fruits, why not strawberries. It was so much fun! Thank you for bringing me back to these great, vintage now, memories… Wow! I am vintage… 🙁 Trends come and go but nature remains always very trendy, our Earth beauty. I really love your dog 🐕

Oh Dani, It's STUNNING DAHHHLIN, We lost our AC on that insanely hot/humid day in NC it was over 90° in our home. It took them 2 days to get a new system & the day it was done, it broke down❣️ We were overwhelmed with how hot it was & how long it took to get the AC installed.

The thing with these kind of furniture is that they definitely need a maximalist environment to show up. You need to make them disappear and at the same time pop-up on their own, if that makes sense! Wow this could not have come at a better time! I literally bought paint and brushes to do this for my dresser last weekend but I've been intimidated by how long it will take. Third attempt at a reply, first 2 aren't showing for me. I suggested that prior to starting your project, check online for stencils, rub on transfers/decals and wood appliques. It can help with guiding creativity.
I adore this so much! When I was 8 years old, I had a folk art nightstand that my parents bought for me in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, from an amazing Amish fruit stand. I absolutely know it takes so much time to paint! I cannot wait to see part 2!!! 💙✌🏻
Perfect! Last week I finally decided what to do in my small retirement house on 5 acres food forest. I split my 840 sf in a north half with a country kitchen and medium bath and small bedroom. The south half will be a greenhouse MY SECRET GARDEN. My walls are kinda celery green. I tend to simple zen, but I love this dresser. You are awesome.
26:25 I actually find it so interesting watching you paint (great music choice for the painting montages btw! 🤩) because I love seeing how you think through which colors and stencils to use and where. I've loved how this dresser was turning out at every stage, and at the end of the video I was thinking to myself that stained glass would be the perfect decor to fill that open area above the mirror. And then you said you were making a custom stained glass piece and I was like, yes!!

I adore this Dani ! There is so much love and creativity poured into this piece. This is an amazing gift to Kaitlin to support her new beginnings and embracing of who she is. So important when life throws change at you. ❤. And yes- the music was spectacular and moving !
The thing with these kind of furniture is that they definitely need a maximalist environment to show up. You need to make them disappear and at the same time pop-up on their own, if that makes sense! I really like the dresser and the bird-maid wallpaper and I'm looking forward next week! (also, Danie, you look gorgeous girl! ^_^ )

Dani Dani Dani!!! 😮 I gasped and started clapping when you started painting light blue dots on the dark blue painted stencils. At that moment I knew this was going to be a special one. I can literally watch you paint live for 12+ hours. It's amazing to see your mind and magic come to fruition. I secretly hope she want to thrift so I can buy it!! LOVE THIS! I'm a big fan of Lone Fox but I feel like this is what he tried to do with the rustic armoire in his laundry room and it wasn't as successful. Not knocking him. This is AMAZING!
This gave me memories of my mom who did a lot of folk art stenciling when I was growing up 😊

Wow this could not have come at a better time! I literally bought paint and brushes to do this for my dresser last weekend but I've been intimidated by how long it will take. This is definitely confirming that fear but at least I know that it could turn out great. And somehow the idea of stencils had truly not occurred to me! Thank you for the inspiration

I suggested that prior to starting your project, check online for stencils, rub on transfers/decals and wood appliques. It can help with guiding creativity.

I adore this so much! When I was 8 years old, I had a folk art nightstand that my parents bought for me in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, from an amazing Amish fruit stand. I absolutely know it takes so much time to paint! I cannot wait to see part 2!!! 💙✌🏻

Perfect! Last week I finally decided what to do in my small retirement house on 5 acres food forest.
I split my 840 sf in a north half with a country kitchen and medium bath and small bedroom. The south half will be a greenhouse MY SECRET GARDEN.
My walls are kinda celery green. I tend to simple zen, but I love this dresser.

26:25 I actually find it so interesting watching you paint (great music choice for the painting montages btw! 🤩) because I love seeing how you think through which colors and stencils to use and where. That’s definitely what I struggle with on projects like these! It’s great to watch how you tackle that as you go!

I've loved how this dresser was turning out at every stage, and at the end of the video I was thinking to myself that stained glass would be the perfect decor to fill that open area above the mirror. And then you said you were making a custom stained glass piece and I was like, yes!!
