I see agurin as the dopa of jungle, these two players reached the top of the game by being extremely talented macro players, no crazy montages, no unnecessary outplays.. Just brilliant reading of the map and the players behaviors.
Id say chovy too. Chovy currently the best midlaner in the game current rank1 korea and known for his godlike cs and consistent play.
This guy got top 1 in korea with basic concepts like hp, position and number advantage. The living proof that fundamentals are the absolute king in league
Well it's alot more then just basics, Agurin has really good awareness of what's going on in the game as he is playing, that's why he can react so fast if the situation changes. Also his understanding of the game is crazy good, which you can see in the druttut cup and prime league relegation games where he just did all the shotcalling and all the thinking of every person of the team. One of his teammates even said that he wasn't even thinking for himself anymore and just did whatever Agurin told him to do and it just worked out.

Sometimes I get flamed because, although I don't play a powerfarm champ (warwick), I spend a lot of time farming, getting consistently ahead of enemy jungle and pivoting the game in my favour. Just hit plat

@@namelesssturdy4676the problem is that with the current jungle meta and with phreaks new jungle changes, ganking like a maniac first few levels and then abusing catch-up xp is completly broken. Being 3 levels up doesnt matter when the enemy jungler gets 2 Levels from one gromp

I have reached diamond by following principles very close to these as a jungler.
Look at your lanes very often, only go for high percentage plays, prioritize farming and cycling your camps the right way when you can.
I think this video can help a lot of junglers

One take is that some people forget the summoner spell difference. It makes or breaks a fight very often. If you especially gank bot which has 4 sums available - many would say: let's get them or atleast their sums. Often they are pushed in so you think you can walk up. But these lanes mostly have the advantage with their comp hence they usually push. Now you come in thinking you can turn the favor a lot. But you bring one summoner less to the table yourself. You only have flash - smite comes on later and you might even get wiped by that tiny difference.

Unfortunately that’s just how it is when living somewhere with weak currency. If companies implement regional pricing not only do they get less profit, people can abuse it by using vpns and shit to get the cheapest price no matter where they are.

You missed one important lesson. Which is “coverage”. Augrin not only look for safe ganks he also provide safety for his teammates when there is a high likelyhood that enemy jungler will gain his laners if they are in a forced position to push or position with potential dive on them.

question: how does his champion pick influence his decision making? Like it seems like for elise he's on a bit of a clock because of how shitty she scales compared to a Sejuani. Or does he still just stick with the plan as with any other champ?
One of the surprising things is how he basically sticks to the same plan. I watched a ton of his Elise games in general he played the exact same.

Agurin's Elise is not on a timer. But you have to consider that despite being a player who focuses a lot on macro, his mechanics on Elise are pretty good. He will often outplay his opponents in teamfights when playing her. And suddenly his Dark seal is fully stacked and becomes a soul stealer.

I hope agurin gets a cut for using his name at least.
This is the low elo conundrum. People spam ping if they are pushed in. Issue is if you get a lane that’s shoved in almost always the enemy will have a level advantage. If you get countered you don’t win that 2v2 unless someone on the enemy team makes a mistake. I started winning most of my games playing around who had prio and avoiding ganking lanes that were shoved unless it would lead to an objective or I had no camps up. This is what I learned for agurin.

TLDR:
Risk Vs Reward
If the risk is too high he doesn’t gank/go for objectives.
If there’s more reward is more than the risk EVER (ie clearing camps (the reward > ganks+objectives (the risk) he’ll take the reward.
Don’t take risks, always take rewards unless there is no rewards, then take risk.

So another game...my team as such low impact that ennemy kindred had 24/7 two people with her to invade my jungle xD.

yeah tell that to my low elo teams, every time i dont run into enemy team like a moron i am getting flamed , every time i try to teach them about waves and tempo they report me and i get chat restricted
the when to gank part, wouldnt it be good for your botlane to gank even if yu dont get a kill? theyll burn summs
If you don't have anything else to do, this might be worth it. But you walk over vision you just waste your time and give the enemy free info about your position, so they might take free scuttle, gank elsewhere knowing you won't be there. Or at least get free vision in your jungle.
There are so many diamond-masters streamers I see that just immediately run it down when jg doesn’t gank their lane.
They take bad trades until their HP low af, refuse to B, greed under tower, and just keep complaining. More often than not this will attract enemy jg to camp near their turret and will be a losing fight even if ally jg go help because it’s gona be 1v2 as soon as the entitled top gets dropped as soon as they fight.
I don’t think this play style will work for those kind of vermin 😂
You have to take into account that they have the streamer bonus: free ganks from enemy jungler and maybe support as well. If they don't have map cover or delay those ganks have an even higher probability. Staying in lane might be gready. But sometimes taking the risk of dying can be the right play. For example fixing the wave and dying can be worth it if you otherwise would have to deal with a frozen wave leading to a gigantic level lead of your lane opponent.
80-100% success on plays that means enemy is making big mistakes so it you have rely on enemy doing enough such mistakes and your team not making them to win.

"Dead time" is a bad name for the time when your jungle is cleared, a better name for it would be "free time". Dead time sounds like the time when you are dead and waiting to respawn. Free time is the time you have when you're not doing your job, and the main job of the jungler is to farm camps

the problem is getting your mid-low elo teammates to not immediately start flaming and throwing the game because you didnt gank the full health overextended Jax when you were right there.
Laners tend to so so so so SO regularly believe they are better junglers than you regardless of how well you are doing just because you didnt make a play they wanted you to and are throwing their lane due to a skill diff or bad matchup.
And then will start to int nonstop because you didnt help them.

Honestly, i just flame the jng when the enemy is taking something all the time while he does nothing and maybe lose it. Like, a game i had a diana jng who've spent like 3/4 min top side while i had vision all over the bot river and kept having push advantage. Diana ended up dying in a fight and the enemy jng took the drake in the end. If you don't show up, at least take something on the other side. If you spent all time farming and never try a gank while the enemy jng is 8/1/6 with 2 drakes and first herald, i'm surely going to flame you.

@RagesSyn nah, i like to put wards down for my team, to eventually peel for a good adc (when i find one). Jungler is not really my way of playing league (and i can climb anyway)
Doesn’t matter, be consistent and you win more over time. Even if SOME games are unwinnable. I’m only a plat jungle player but I was surfing in bronze/silver to play with my friend. I get mvp and insane kdas 75% of the time, which is guaranteed for me to climb out of the ‘elo hell’ even though in 25% of the games, the emotional low elo laners afk and troll because I don’t do what they say. If you can’t get out of elo hell, it’s a skill issue.
