I haven't forgotten Mr whittaker. I grew up watching Family Affair as a child. And i still watch it to this day on occasion. It is a good family show that teaches values about life. We definitely need more Family Affair Shows these days.
I sat down to watch Tom Sawyer when Johnny came in and sat down beside me. We were in college, in the basement t.v. room of our dorm at BYU. He answered a question or two, like how he didn't really remember much about making the movie. Then I let him be, and he watched for a few minutes, then said goodnight, and that he needed to get back to his room and study. He was a nice, normal guy.
Kathy Garver is the true superstar/survivor of child stardom. Even helps her former cast mates stay employed/get work. Acting as an agent of sorts. - Love Kathy.

well he too apparently has had his share of drug use to the point that his family held an intervention and there was also a connection with he and dana plato as well, just can't shake feeling he may have introduced drugs to anissa :(
Whitaker is about 2 or 3 years older than me. When this was done, was he still doing Cocaine, Meth, and Drinking. I hear his family threaten to "divorce" him if he didn't go get help. Now in his 50s, I hope he learned a lesson. If he has truly changed, forget about his past, we can not change it, move forward! Keep these kids of today out of trouble!
I am watching reruns of "Family Affair" right now on TUBI TV! I love love love this show. My favorites are Mr. French and Mrs. Beasley - Buffy and Jody are fun and Cissy is very cool! And of course, Uncle Bill is the best!!

The Buffy girl in fmly affair died of o/d of drugs she was wth her brother both on drugs brother survived but the Buffy girl 4 got her real name, died my start of Jr high yr in 1976 I went to Wamego High in Wamego ks we got the news Buffy died o/d of drugs the girls in class wer crying,, us guys wer quiet an shocked, we ddnt cry we lost class concentration for several minutes are wmn teacher she got dropt tears

I have been watching Family Affair recently (I am recreating the set in VR!) and WOW he still has so many of the same speaking mannerisms etc!
I think Mr. Whitaker had wanted us to call him "John" since he was 18, as a sign of maturity.
