When I was watching this TV show during the time of its original run I was too young to understand much of the dialogue and it seemed to me that the characters of Buffy and Jody were slightly younger than I was, but actually Johnny Whittaker and Anissa Jones were born a few years before me.

You would have noticed that on most shows made from this era. The lack of ethnic diversity was glaringly obvious during this time. It was very much a white world on television.

Brian Keith's heart went away when he appeared at Annisa's untimely funeral. His own daughters was much younger than the 18 year-old who portrayed his Buffy who in real life, who overdosed on one of the biggest OD's ever. It does not surprise me that Brian gave up, went straight to hell, took his own life over a selfish suicide, not caring about his only family or life, and now he stays in endless fire over something he could never control, forever. GOD DOES NOT ACCEPT QUITTERS.
People who take their own life are in such pain and do not know where to turn and feel there is no hope for them. This is not selfish. Stop thinking of yourself and think of other person who is in pain. Bible again shows hate and no love.
I'm pretty sure lung cancer and the suicide of his own daughter, just 2 months before he took his own life, carried more weight than the death of a co star 30 years earlier.

Kinda hard to watch, owing to the sad fate of Anissa Jones (Buffy), who OD'd at 18. It also is so saccharine I needed insulin.
