Legendary game last time we met in the SEC championship, legendary again in the national championship, then again in this SEC championship. It's hard to win every game you play and for a while it looked like both Tua and Alabama were having an off day. Tua deserves credit for hanging in there though and he was turning things around before being injured. HUGE respect for Hurts who came in with a "hold my beer" attitude and led the Tide to victory. He kept being a team player after Tua became the starting qb and he's shown just how much he has matured. In fact, the whole team showed a lot of heart today. Fun fact: Since 2004 (even before the Saban era) the largest loss Alabama has had has been 17 points and that happened during that year to South Carolina (20 to 3). I think during Saban's reign Alabama hasn't lost by more than 14 points - but of course they haven't lost much. For a while it looked like Georgia might dominate 'Bama in this game but the great teams don't allow that to happen. RTR.

My friend was sad after this game because he is a UGA fan and I am a Bama fan. At the end he said, "Roll Tide." Then I responded with "Go Dawgs." It was a sign of respect for each others team because both had played one hell of a game.
I didn’t think Bama was going to win this game to say it had gone for the better part of 3 quarters. So many dropped passes, poor tackling, getting carved up on third down. I just didn’t see it happening. I thought things had finally caught up to them. Glad that wasn’t the case.

They dont deserve it. They blew the lead and they lost to LSU. The same LSU team that Bama left scoreless in Baton Rouge. Besides that, Notre Dame was placed in the #3 spot for whatever reason who knows but they were. Also, 2 teams are 12 and 1. If Oklahoma had lost then even I would say Georgia should get the last spot before Ohio but since they won, Oklahoma deserves that 4th spot.

No game has really been close in the 4th Quarter this season. This was the offenses worst first half performance and Heisman phenom Tua Tagovailoa went out with injury. Second time in the same year Bama has beaten Georgia. I think Alabama "creates" their own luck/miracles. I know it hurts to get so close and lose but Georgia played above board, and bama below.. perfect storm... but Bama picked it up to "finish" in an all too close game.
U know the power running game is the bread and butter of both teams but I am shocked at both teams not trying to stretch the field. The running backs for each are fantastic but with these 2 QBs especially Fromm and you never strike any fear in the opposing defensive co. Everything was crossing routes and out in the flat and Georigia should have put their foot on the gas when they were up, to conservative imho.
chester kleinhans Ga didn't cross Alabama's 45 after the missed FG at 8:20 left in the 3rd until the next to the last play of the game when the Hail Mary was thrown. Bama kicked ass in the second half and without the drops and picks this could have easily been a blowout.

Listened to the game on radio. Thought Tua was way off. Truth? He had 6 passes dropped that were easily catchable. Those passes get caught... this game ain't close.
And Tua got his ankle stepped on the first drive. And 4 of those dropped passes were 20+ yards. And one of Bama's better DB was suspended the first half for targeting. Perhaps, if Georgia had played with the same intensity with LSU as they did against Alabama they would have made the final four. Georgia played a great game with a great plan. But Georgia simply got beat by a great team. Let me finish by saying you and the Georgia fans can come with all kind of excuses as to why Georgia lost the game, but at the end of the day if you had handled your business with LSU even with a loss to Bama you still would have made the final four. If Georgia kicks it with 3:09 left in the 4th quarter, Kirby knows they won't get the ball back... Bama drives it down the field and scores with seconds left in the game. If they fake it and make it, Georgia scores with seconds left for the win. If they fake it and don't make it, they get the ball back with about a minute left to try and win... whether Bama scores or not. It really was his only shot... not a bad call at all.

No game has really been close in the 4th Quarter this season. This was the offenses worst first half performance and Heisman phenom Tua Tagovailoa went out with injury. Second time in the same year Bama has beaten Georgia. I think Alabama "creates" their own luck/miracles. I know it hurts to get so close and lose but Georgia played above board, and bama below.. perfect storm... but Bama picked it up to "finish" in an all too close game.

U know the power running game is the bread and butter of both teams but I am shocked at both teams not trying to stretch the field. The running backs for each are fantastic but with these 2 QBs especially Fromm and you never strike any fear in the opposing defensive co. Everything was crossing routes and out in the flat and Georigia should have put their foot on the gas when they were up, to conservative imho.
Incredibly unfortunate for all fans of Football that Georgia was not granted a spot in the play offs.

chester kleinhans Ga didn't cross Alabama's 45 after the missed FG at 8:20 left in the 3rd until the next to the last play of the game when the Hail Mary was thrown. Bama kicked ass in the second half and without the drops and picks this could have easily been a blowout.

Georgia 2 things, the game is 60 minutes long, referees don't steal games from your team , Alabama appears yo have way more heart than Georgia, at the moment Alabama began coming back you could see the air go out of Georgia players and when their coach tried that idiotic fake punt he showed his players he was scared of Alabama and he was scared to go to overtime with Alabama, even having the home field at the Georgia Dome. More than likely your players got a sense that you did not trust them to win the game but had to try some idiotic gimmick to win the game so hopefully the Georgia coach stands up in front of your team and says I lost the game not my players because that Georgia coach lost the game and he definitely proved he is nowhere near should be mentioned in the same breath as Nick Saban as far as coaching. Probably no other coach in the nation tries of fake punt in that situation because if you don't make it you're saying the other team has to drive 15 yards to beat you. It would have been stupid even if he had made it. Gula must have wooped Tua's with a belt after this game. He played terrible. I will be glad for him when he gets the NFL so he can be saved from that fear. On another note this game was squarely in hands of the Bulldogs. Not because Alabama and GA are both really good teams, it was because the Bulldogs are better and they played better. Until something occurred they did not practice for which is Jalen Hurts. Big props to Hurts. Tua was having a bad game. He should have been benched even without the injury. He essentially through 3 picks. The Alabama defense tonight was not up to the past expectations. They are elite. They will need to play their very best to stop OU. This is going to be interesting. Also, I am sure the CFP committee also looked at your elite team being whipped by 20 points by LSU. In addition, I am also sure the committee looked at how your elite team allowed a Bama team to be down at one point 21-7 in the game and come back to win the game 35-28.
Perhaps, if Georgia had played with the same intensity with LSU as they did against Alabama they would have made the final four. However, they didn't handle their business with LSU so now they are in a bowl game against Texas where Bama is in the playoff as the number one seed.
I'm not going to be like you and hate. Georgia played a great game with a great plan. But Georgia simply got beat by a great team. Tua in the game held on to the ball too long and didn't go to his checkdown players when his receivers were covered up downfield. This is fixable and Tua learned very valuable lessons in this game that will help him in the future.
Let me finish by saying you and the Georgia fans can come with all kind of excuses as to why Georgia lost the game, but at the end of the day if you had handled your business with LSU even with a loss to Bama you still would have made the final four. Marinade on this while Bama go for another championship. And by the way, that's a wrap.

CFB is not the NFL and even if they were going to call PI on a jump ball between two defenders which they weren't(they had already shown they were not going to decide the game with flags) PI would have been a 15 yard penalty not a spot foul.
