We had our wedding at Secrets Akumal last year so we actually had two free nights for total of 7 nights..5 nights is great as well, plenty of time to go to all the restaurants you want expect 1. Plenty of time as well to get a feel of the resort and do all the fun things. We went with what worked best with our work schedules and budget.
