the amould of garbage that would collect in there was amazing. hopefully these will keep the garbage out

Good move on the battery tender wire the frunk is where I put mine when I installed it.

that battery tender lead really annoyed me , why they would have it dangling behind the radiator fan is beyond me.

My battery tender lead is on the left side... Did you want to put it in the frunk because of moisture? Oh .. You answered...
The frunk is an ideal location. You can easily tap off the battery with a wire harness kit and keep it completely weather proof when not in use.
