The Grizzlies, Raptors and Timberwolves all did better than expected last year so a big offseason is here. There are trades, free agent targets and the draft to consider but there’s lots of drama too. Will D’Angelo Russell be traded? Will the Raptors deal OG Anunoby? Can Memphis get Ja Morant another star?

As a raptors fan, I think Nerlens Noel would fit great with our team. He's a mobile, super athletic center with an excellent wingspan, good shot-blocking/defence, great rebounding and isn't too expensive.
We don’t need an expensive big I agree entirely we just need one for some of our bigger matchups

I think you guys are missing the point if it is true that og wants out then that would be the best way to get a decent center in return. I dont like losing Trent since the only way gobert works is with spacing and good 3pt shooting.

Jalen Smith would be a great addition to the Raptors off FA if we can get him. Don't think the OG and Gary trade for Gobert would work. Raps already lack shooting and sending away 2 of their best starting shooters is a bad idea

Yeah, we need a center. Especially if Embiid is in our Division. We have to get a big enough body to bang in the post with him. It will free up Siakim and Barnes to do more on offense. Now should we trade for Goebert? Hell no and I don't care who is in the package. Not paying super max money for a center who can only play defense that Embiid abuses.

Unless the wolves get a starting caliber 4/5 to pair next to Kat I’d be surprised if they make a move involving DLO. I keep seeing trades that bring back a bunch of average players back to match salary but why not just keep him if that’s what’s being offered. This one’s better cause of the 10th pick being included but This move wouldn’t move the needle for me personally.

@@AMHoops i dont see og moved if it doesnt make the team better, or it just opens up a hole at another position. you saw the raptors in playoffs at mid court, they need more og anunobys on the team. also i dont see raptors trading for a max contract guy with the contracts coming up next year in fred and gary trent and siakam and og the year after. i think the raptors try to sign some depth this year and thats about it. if og is moved it would likely have to be a kings ransom because he is their best defender and two way players, so the fit is good, the contract is good, and the age is good so he checks all the boxes, and og is not a high maintence player either. also i only see og moved if they think precious can be as good and needs more playing time.

Minnesota is going to have to make a D-low trade before giving KAT that super Max or there salary cap will be in hard cap territory with Edward's contract being up next and if a team is ready to put in the players and picks I think KAT is on the sneaky trade block. The Heat sending Bam,Herro,a lesser player and picks could be a possible if Riley wants a star center.
KAT Is nowhere near worth that Miami trade lol. That’s an Embiid type trade and not many other players. Definitely not weak ass KAT on a super max. But the reason I was commenting on your post anyway was to say there is no hard cap bc of spending in the NBA. It would be higher and higher luxury tax penalties. They’d only be subject to the hard cap of the wolves were receiving a player in a sign and trade deal. Them spending on all those players they have bird rights on doesn’t intricate any hard cap. Just continues to increase the luxury tax multiplier at each level
I feel like the Grizzlies are in a good position to go after a really good player via trade. They have draft equity and cap space. It just seems like they're one player short.
