There is a Viking included tour to Gottweig Abbey but we said, "nay" and concentrated on adorable Krems. Lower Stein and Upper Krems together are "Krems" and is loaded to the brim with little medieval houses, remaining gates, etc.

I am glad you did not miss your ship. Steve would have been horrified! Though I suppose being a river cruise it would not be such a catastrophe. I expect you could get transport from Krems to the next stop. Certainly, it looks as if Krems is a place worth returning to! Thank you for the video and I hope you are enjoying your current cruise!

Wow, what a beautiful town - Krems. I'll definitely put it on my list of places to visit. It's a shame the cruise line didn't allow more time for you to explore Krems. I would have probably missed the ship because of spending too much time in the bakery!
Hope you don't mind Chip but I'd like to repeat a little of what I told Rudy...If it wasn't for the fact, we were eating ourselves into a caloric stupor on the ship, I would have bought like crazy... I adore looking at food, particularly bakeries. Yum, yum, yum...

That would have been funny if you missed the boat. I thought Viking was serious and studious not rushing people like McD’s
Steve is completely neurotic about missing a boat, train, taxi or anything and drives me mad giving constant time countdowns! I think perhaps new travelers do better on these whirlwind tours because they haven't gotten a "feel" for European travel. What do you think? Thanks for watching and best regards, Sheila
