I understand your point and I can tell that you genuinely care about Nigeria. However, I think an Igbo Presidency in 2023 is not the answer to Nigeria's problems even the Ethno-Religious problems. We need a President who can get the job done whether he is from the North, South, East or West. I have never seen a society that develops by appeasing groups but I can show you societies that develop because of meritocracy. I think merit should be the argument for 2023.

Nigeria doesn't need a President who is a product of a "fairness and equity arrangement", we need a President who will be fair to all, I believe that Osinbajo is the man. Also, Osinbajo addressed two issues that I've been shouting about; restructuring the security architecture and the justice system. It tells me that he has a game plan, compare this to the declaration of other aspirants. Notice how his brand of politics is different. I will vote for him. It's really funny how his thoughts tally with those of Soludo.

I disagree with the picture being painted. Osinbajo didn't decline before neither was it that his mind wasn't made-up. Obviously, it would have been too early to declare and perhaps some Nigerians would have called him desperate.
Acts of Wisdom is usually passives as foolishness or cowardice initially, with time people begin to understand and appreciate its wisdom.

It's also possible Amechi wasn't yet sure he would run when only last week he told journalists he had no money for such and that the people asking him to run should give him the money.
It's also possible Emefiele has nothing to do with the group calling for his presidency and investing a fortune in branded campaign materials for someone who didn't tell them he's interested in the whole thing.
I know it's possible Abacha was not behind the "Youth Earnestly Ask for Abacha" movement, and that Obasanjo was not interested in a third term as president when people were romancing the idea. I'm quite aware of these possibilities

Yet, notice that I singled out Osinbajo. Second, I did not claim that he had nothing to do with his support groups or that he wasn't sure he was going to run. I only said that it wasn't a dishonest move to wait till this time to declare. Doing so would have been too early. Finally, unlike the other candidates you mentioned, he didn't claim not to be interested. He wittingly stayed away from media to avoid being put on the spot (and there's nothing wrong with this).

I don't think he has anything to offer. In over 7 years as VP no one can point at one signature project that he initiated or influenced aside sharing money in the market. It's obvious Buhari gave all of them freedom to operate and we have seen their capacities one by one.
Finally, someone who looks, thinks and acts like a president. Forget about the party or the fact that he was vice to a failed president. Osinbajo is modern, sharp and a deep thinker. I'd say he's the best of them all for now.

Better to have an Osinbajo as president than Tinubu. His little stay as acting President shows he is proactive to addressing national issues. People ask what has he done in the past 7 years, the truth is there little impact a VP can do without presidential directive which we all know is non existent.
Then what will he do as a President faced with much more opposition from National Assembly and the Court?
VP Osibanjo has been tested and proven to be a poppet for Fulani cabas. He could not take charge when Buhari was absence. He will never be in charge and the positioned or surrounded Fulani in place will be maintained in next tenure if he will be elected. Osibanjo from his background has always been a poppet since he was in Redeem Christian Church as a church warder. He has not managed anything if his own. Therefore is not worthy of Mr President. In addition he and Tinubu are chief betrayers of rotational Presidency which reflect federal character that made him a VP. Yoruba Nation is been remainder that this country is foundationed on zoning and federal character. Let everyone leave the chance for Igbo ethnic group to produce the next President.

I would have loved this man to steer the affairs of Nigeria because he has all it takes.But my problem with him is making reference to Mohammadu Buhari who has taken Nigeria one step forward and two steps backwards.
