Claridges is one of the oldest hotel of Delhi. I have attended a meeting ober there and it was good experience.
When I was just a very young boy, my father used to take me to this hotel for swimming. Now I stay in Kolkata.

I worked in this hotel at the front desk in 1987.
For what Claridiges Hotel is offering the room rates are damned cheap compared to international standards like London or New York ! For example the extremely large suite costs only US-$ 448 or Rs. 28.500,-. I know of much smaller suites in Frankfurt costing about ten times more at the Westin (previous Sheraton) in Frankfurt and it's much less luxurious. And Frankfurt is a very small city compared to Delhi. Is the Claridges Hotel located inside Delhi or out of the city?

Apologies in advance if you see this as rude but being an international viewer I find myself being really disappointed in your travel vlogs. They're excellently shot and we get to see the sites with you but there's little to no explanation to the things you show. You're just telling us what we can see. It would be great to get a little more information on the hotel, the history/ back story. Tell us about each amenity you highlight not rush through it with small talk so, for example, what therapies you can get if you come to the health spa? Other than the food your ordered what else can you get? Why is the Ye Old Bakery called the Ye Old Bakery? And so on. On the food (this vid and on past videos) - you say everything is either yummy or amazing or delicious or heavenly or divine but why is it? What's so great about it? Why do I gotta eat there or stay/ visit there or do the activities you're showing? Aesthetically your vids are great but as a host you're not pointing anything out to me to make me want to visit these places. I only say all of this because I, like many of your international subbies would love to visit travel to India and visit these places and am very interested in travel and different cultures etc. I hope you don't see this as trolling or bitchiness. It's just my observation as a fellow tv/film professional and and fan of your videos x
MOIK O Hi Thank u for your feedback. We don't go into a lot of detail coz its youtube and we like to keep the videos shot so people can watch them anywhere. Whenever there is something Indian that people wouldn't understand I do try to translate or explain the same. Also with the food we do guide u and tell you if its spicy or unhygienic . Will try and drop in a few more details for u on the next trip :)

You didnt show the lawn buffet brunch which takes place every winters, that is for sure the best thing aboout this Hotel

It’s Dec 2019... and sadly, this hotel is rather run down, and service boarding on average. Unfortunately, we arrived after staying at the Oberio Kolkata and comparing the 2, it was planets apart. Bar was tacky and breakfast confined to a very small space, and did I mention that service was boarding on average? Would I stay here.... NOPE!

its a beautiful place however customer service is pathetic. towels smell like they are 100 years old. restaurants are good.

Your enthusiasm is too much and lying on the bed is not professional because the hotel staff might have to redo the bed (change all bed clothings) because even a hair can be fatal for them. Next time try to be more sober, factual and less personal ! Video quality and the Claridges Hotel is really very very good. And I like the fact that You state the prices from the tariff card and that too is $ and INR !
