Misty Plana

“I chose Delgado because of the amazing nursing program they have,” said Misty Plana. Plana is enrolled in the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Delgado’s Charity School of Nursing and works full-time as a Medical Nursing Assistant at Ochsner. She said she appreciates the opportunity to advance her career while learning with a diverse group of peers who reflect the essence of the New Orleans region. “Ochsner has allowed us to go to school, keep our 40 hours of work week, and keep our benefits as well. After we finish school, we’ll be working at our same job, but as a licensed practical nurse.”
