I had actually forgotten that I'd done this show! Joe performs 'Good Girls' live on The Keenan Ivory Wayans Show. This was Joe's band during his 'All That I Am' tour, which included myself, Gene Williams on keys, Masa Shimizu (gt), Nat Townsley (dr), Kenji Hino (bs), Mike Ciro (gt), Scott Brown (Keys/MD), & Jimmy Cozier among the background vocalists

Joe better sing!!!!! He's one of VERY FEW artists' that I have NEVER seen a bad performance from (voice wise). His voice only gets better with time!!!

Joe is smashing this track on lead vocals. It's only a small handful of people who can sound this good live and Luther Vandross along with Whitney Houston just to name two. Joe is in that category no doubt.đ

@@Jamaicafunk He's up there simply because he's genuine. He's totally original and nobody sounds like him and he sounds like nobody else. We both know R.kelly is a carbon copy of Aaron Hall. Clearly he stole that man's whole act and made a fortune off of it.

@@Drejac1 đ Joeâs always changing things up. No one really stays in his groups for very long. We loved that band. Many of us have been friends for years, and are doing other things all around the world now. We were the band that did Joeâs first major tour and first major TV appearances.

@@Jamaicafunk I think that this is a sweeter key arrangement than his original version! Most soloists would sing their song in a lower key to protect their vocals or because they are getting over a cold.....etc but then again this is an oldie and Joe was super young!
@@mrslywwilliams313 I had forgotten that this wasnât the original key. We were on tour and Joe took a few keys of songs down because he didnât want to lose his voice straining on them every night.
How was Joe to work with? He seems down to earth and wants to provide the audience a quality show and the best

I love the performers but I hate that the band transpose the key a half step down. I know Joe can sing it in the original key like the album
Joe transposed it. Not the band. He said the higher parts in the song were killing him singing it every night while on tour.

More than a half step. It was like a 3rd. He could kill it. But not every night during a month long tour.
