If your dishwasher has stopped emptying it could be the drain hose that is blocked and needs replacing. Replacement drain hoses can be found at: www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/...
8 years on and this viedo is still relevant. Many MANY thanks from Stockholm for this instructive and clear video. Just started up my machine now, and if it doesn't work I'll replace it knowing that I did everything in my power to fix the cloging etc thanks to you Sean ☀
One of the best explanatory videos I've seen - clear and simple. Gave me the confidence to tackle this job myself after I discovered a squashed drain hose - saved me an engineer's call-out charge, thank you!
Thanks so much, excellent. BUT maybe worth saying that after doing this it might be necessary to tip the machine forwards to clear an air lock. This is evidenced by E15 error message. Happened to me, googled it, apparently quite a common problem after refitting the drain hose.
Hi I used your video to do the same thing on my dishwasher today. There was water coming out what looked like an overflo in the water index bottom left that was draining into the bottom of the dishwasher and showing E15. I took that off but first had to make 3 tools to get the plastic nut that is inside the washer off. This took ages and didn't come off like your in the video. For anyone that is battling to take this nut off. Take a pencil rubbing of the nut then cut it out and stick it onto a piece of hardward ply, I used 12mm. I put 8x40mm bolts through holes drilled in the wood near the corners of the template that was stuck to the wood. Its very difficult to explain but it worked. I also heated it with a hair dryer. Anyway thank you for your video it inspired me to give it a go.
First of al, thanks for this great video. I have the same dishwasher but after completion of the procedure that dishwasher doesnt work anymore? It fills up the water tank for 80% and than it stops. I hear a ticking sound but it doesnt starts running. Can someone help? What can it be?
Saved my bacon! Thank you for a superbly clear explanation and demonstration. Now - how to stop the mice eating through this one and flooding the ktichen?
Just want to say thank you for this video! We have a different Bosch model (SPX68B55UC) and although our matrix looks a little different, the process was pretty much the same. In the end, we didn't need to remove the water inlet hose to disconnect and then reconnect the drain hose, but everything else was the same. We would have never been able to figure this out ourselves, and we were able to save ourselves the time and money of a Bosch service call.
Thanks Steve, I had a different Bosch model with a different matrix, but this perfectly explained how to disconnect the matrix, saved hours of fumbling and breaking bits - Great help
Thanks for this, exactly what I needed. My dishwasher is slightly different inside with the pipe travelling from the back to the front underneath everything and round to the front so the pipe needed pushed through due to this accessibility issue but all your steps and logic worked a treat. Thanks again.
Thank you! I just spend the afternoon trying to find out what was the problem with my dishwasher and had I found your video 5 hours earlier, I might have finished within an hour!

Why do you have to disconnect the matrix? Why not just unplug the hose from the matrix?

*good tutor*👍💓🤩
What did we do before CZcams? Thank you for the instructions, saved me buying a new machine.
Thans for this video. Some models (number sn55x or se25x) no need dissamble water inlet. Firstly hose push inside and downside.

8 years later - I never would have worked that out myself!
Thank you from New York City. That was unnecessarily difficult but you helped it make sense.
There was a guy that did this all careful. I love that you did it this way. JUST PULL IT APART!!!!

Thank you very much!. Although my dishwasher had another failure - related to the flux meter- , your video helped me to mend it successfully.

Much more complicated that other brands but thanks for clear explanation
This video has just saved me $$$$ and earned me much needed brownie points with the better half.👍
