Learn G C and D. you can then play 100s of songs.
It's just about having the right tools then putting the time in. I'm confident you can do it if you put your mind to it! Although, I do agree that sometimes it's hard to stick to learning just one thing at a time.
I honestly think just having your guitar on your lap whilst watching TV is a great idea. Cause you just noodle. And its still practicing. And you just play whatever and come up with new stuff.
I wrote a 9 minute prog instrumental just noodling whilst watching TV with my acoustic on my lap. Not all at once obviously. . . But slowly the ideas came.
I completely agree. I spent countless hours doing exactly this.

I play mostly Hard Rock and Heavy Metal will this course benefit me? I also take private lessons once per week.
The focus of the course isn’t exactly on metal, but the course will most definitely help you. All the concepts still apply.
