Buchner is a class act and tough kid. Welcome back
I'm glad TB is back. I wish him great success!
I always thought he would come back. Notre Dame Man & gives QB depth in a pinch too. Get him the ball & good things can happen with his legs.
Before TB announced he'd play as a walk on someone said they'd love to have him back as a walk on at WR/RB... they said "from when Tyler was there it was clear he loved ND and was a good teammate. I'd love have him back. He could contribute greatly even if he never plays on Saturdays. He can help his teammates, and would be awesome to have him walk around with new recruits talking about why he chose to come back to ND."
Some folks ripped that man for suggesting the idea, but once he said it I could do nothing else but hope.
Looking forward to Buchner throwing a TD pass off of an end around.
go Irish 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Heck yeah , we have Buckner back ! . 🍀 This should push us to 10 wins on the season. 🍀 GO IRISH !!!!! 💯🍀🍀🍀
Or schools may try the Michigan cake schedule path to the PO
I can see ND putting in a package of special plays with Buchner in the slot. He would be a passing threat as well.
You said T.B is a walk on to the Lacrosse team, but I thought he is a Lacrosse scholarship player. Can you provide input?
i believe if you play two sports and one of them is football you aren't allowed to be on scholarship in the other sport. I'm not 100% sure but I have heard this somewhere and its to prevent schools from gaming the system to get extra football scholarships
I would love to play a Big 12 team next year
The prodigal son
Collin Cowherd suggested that USC drop the Notre Dame game if Notre Dame Dame doesn’t join the Big 10. Have any insight on this? Thanks.
I do......Colin Cowherd eats Corn the Long Way !!!
I also heard he farts in his bath water than bites the bubbles....FRONKER !!!
“Insight” and cowherd are incompatible
They would get Dawg walked anyways USC has been trying for years to drop this game because they know ND will be dominant an win every game soon😂
Cowherd is a moron.
TB12 always ran like a RB lol that's why he stayed hurt
He ALL IRISH
I belive it will be the opposite.
Teams will schedule more lower wnd schools. Those schools will be money to try to keep up.
Teams would rather make the playoffs rather than test their team and not make it.
If teams schedule harder games it is just a matter of time 3,4 or 5 lose teams will make the playoffs.
Either way it will just be a watered-down product
BWWAAHHH HAH HAH HAH!! What a riot that opening line is/was-- and most of the people tuning in probably don't believe you're saying it either! Who needs sci fy, when reality is so friggin weird it defies description? So long as he isn't taking up a scholarship slot he could be useful - given its Denbrock, who the heck _knows_ what they might do with him... I would love to see the other sideline twitching out because he lined up in the backfield (and then he might just throw blocks... LOL)
Good kid and a nice little story but he will not take another meaningful snap at ND. The QB room no longer needs him. Go Irish
Put him ,get him Coached up ,And Work ,At Safety Good Athlete, good size ,we could use older Athletes back there,we got plenty of receivers coming in.
Buckner was a traitor, plain and simple. Why the school made the decision to allow him back is mind boggling and a slap in the face to all the athletes that have been rejected from the University.
Letting him play on any sports team is a major mistake. Allowing him to play on Notre Dame’s football team in any capacity is heresy. This is Marcus Freeman’s first big mistake.
If you think that you know nothing about sports
Disagree completely. Buchner was not going to start at ND. He made a decision to give himself a chance to play elsewhere. Nothing wrong with a kid furthering his own personal interests. That he wanted to come "home," and did come home to help ND win a NC is a good story. And having him walk on for football is also a nice story. There is no need for pettiness against him. He seems to generally love ND.
Can we assume you also think it is also "heresy" to allow Denbrock to return to Notre Dame?
He is a kid I'm glad he is back anyone who wants to play hurt has heart and he not a QB he is an athlete picked wrong position
He's 20 & they make mistakes. He's been humbled and if he wants to make it right by helping in an area where they have a need, then leave him, the team, and coaches alone to decide how they want to manage their team.
This what pagans would call self-righteous hypocrisy. have some humility and route for his success rather than bitterly being upset when others are shown grace. Thank God God doesn't treat us like that when we mess up.
