Happy Father's Day to you Andy woods, and thank you for the video it was fun to watch on Father's Day morning ,it's never too long please make them longer and looking forward to the next one, and how about another of those hour-long feeding videos that would be fun to watch.thanks
It’s great having you back I love all your cichlids. I’m an avid South American cichlid fan after my red devil yes such a bulldog personality with a devilish meanness to him he killed half his tank mates and he’s made me rehome the rest. But god he’s gorgeous and I love emI’ !!
@@andywoodscichlids2942 one day lol I have a pair of dovii just need a decent sized shed and some more tanks and always watch your vids :) well for the last 6 or 7years lol
Yes look for the speckles and dots. But at 3inch it's still to early to 100 tell. Gets easyer as they grow. 5 to 6 inch should be noticeable. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment Happy fishkeeping to you sir

I have a red dovii that’s about three inches how could I tell the sex? Or is it to early?
Your male will be entirely speckled with dots.your female will have less speckles .Dovii are easy to determine their sex whether blue or red
