Firstly can I thank all those lovely folk that have joined this channel and all those that continue to support it with your wonderful comments and suggestions....they are always much appreciated.
This week's choice was inspired by Dave from our Eagle Ukes group who wanted something with some TAB ( tablature ) in it. This song is ideal for this as well as giving a change from the usual 4/4 songs we now have a lovely 3/4 waltz which will give a bit of variety in your repertoire. The song can be just strummed throughout and the first verse can be repeated instead of playing the break...it really is up to you what you want to do...mostly have fun messing about with it.
I have included a link below with the free sheet music and also a further link to a CZcams video to explain how to play the TAB part ( for those that wish to peruse this ). I do recommend checking other tutors on CZcams who will give you a better beginners guide to reading TAB than I can...many have all sorts of on screen aids that make learning far easier...I unfortunately am not that tech savvy.
As always..have fun...take your time...remember practice makes perfect etc etc...haha...

Thanks so much Ellen....this is such a lovely Waltz though the lyrics are sad but that's life I suppose...I always love jamming with Roz as her baritone playing adds so much to anything we play....just trying to get her to sing more as her voice is far far better than mine but she's more shy than me....:) Love and best wishes to you...x

Thanks Harry...explaining TAB is not something I find easy to do so please do check out other CZcams tutors who have all the tech onscreen gizmos that should make introduction easier. It's a skill that's useful to have to add a bit of further variance though certainly not essential to having fun with your uke...good luck...best wishes to you all.. :)

That's a lovely tune Graham and Roz, well played and sung. I first heard it from Tony Legg (and his brother Ray) many many years ago in Saltburn. Funny how certain tunes remind you of people.

Its a beautiful Waltz and that run is wonderful and sets the tune up.
It was hilarious on me following TAB video that I tried to do me usual more complex stuff at the end (which I've played for years ) and completely stuffed up...just shows eh nerves in front of the camera..haha..
I've no editing tools so I left the big bloomer in if just to show that I make mistakes ( lots of them ) like everyone else...:)
