This video was very informative. I thank you for posting it. It definitely helped me with a hole torn into cotton paper...not on edge. The glue idea was great and thanks to your video my page is now restored and you'll never know there was a hole in it before painting. Thanks Dana Rose
It's worth noting that paper repair tape, although very thin and translucent, does add a certain thickness and strength to a page. When it is applied to both sides of a page the added strength can form a "tear line" at the edge if the repair is well-aligned on front and back.

so i got slime on my book then i let it dry because i thought it would help, yea that did help at all and i have torn half of my book ಥ_ಥ
