9:45 Yes, from memory ... A study on the hunter-gatherers of our days shows that they consume about 200 grams of fiber per day from food, instead of the 25, 30 or 45 grams that we are scientifically advised.
There you have it, we can have the best of both worlds, since moreover we can and should eat less meat.
(During the paleolithic human food was 20% to 50% plant-based, the rest was meat, but they only lived about 30 years [they had 15 to 20% more brain volume though and they were reaching their genetic size, in term of how tall they were, unlike human being now.])
(In any case in France people are 5 centimeters below their genetic height, compared to the Paleolithic.)

Old story, life expectancy for infant death survivors was much higher. It was outpaced just around 1840 in europe.

riccardo fabris: Indeed, if my memory serves me right, around 1700 ~ 1790 life expectancy in France was 56 or 58 years for infant death survivors.

Hi Pamela, thanks for your comment. You would think so as this would involve a lot of concentration as well as physical activity. And hopefully you do it with other people to get social interaction. (also see our recent video on the longevity of different sports)
