I would put my life on the table and state that in no way is this channel racist, if it were I would not be subscribed to it. John will tell anyone if he wants to if he thinks they are being disrespectful and I’ve seen him speak to all nationalities,including white British, and pull them up on their behaviour. I didn’t see the comment John spoke about but he said there were 2 of the same comments so you could call them twin comments, would that mean I was being racist towards twins, no! It could have been from the group with the Hats and pigtails, I’m not sure exactly what they call themselves but if I called them out and said allegedly it could have been them would that be racist?, No, why? Because it is something that particular group do. I remember when John spoke to them and also spoke to the young you tuber about all of their behavioural antics and all were from different nationalities, John also spoke to them on a very diplomatic way without escalating any situation. So call this channel racist once more and if I see the comment I would be well within my rights to respond and call whoever does that, a fool. Thank you John for bringing us these videos daily and for the interesting commentary which at times is humorous and puts a smile on many peoples faces.

I've never seen or heard you single out a race, only call out disrespectful behavior from those who are ignorant. I watch many youtube channels, i've seen people be racist & read it from people leaving comment. I for one would not watch a channel like that. I enjoy your channel. Your respect for guardsmen & horses, commentary & viewage of surrounding areas give me a glimpse of a country some of my ancestors came from. Its given me broader insight in horses & their beauty. Good grief??? Abused or neglected??? These horses? I think NOT! They are living the life! Not to mention they are adored by their troop & it shows when they pet them. All horses or any animal can or will nip. They have a job! All animals do. Could be standing guard or giving therapy by just sitting on someone’s lap. It’s all in how you look at it. I myself have a cat that sleeps on my desk at work! My kitties at home, their jobs are to entertain me with their antics! I’m an animal lover & also a realist! Much love & respect to them ❤️
The thing is, and I don’t think people have quite “got” this, is that their task is to stand guard….in other words, stand calmly for the most part, without freaking out from the crowds, the traffic, the sirens, the flags etc. Not biting idiot tourists who push too hard isn’t part of their job description. Sure, if the horse welcomes it, give them a pat, but if you try that with a guards Mount that has pinned ears, is restless and avoiding touch, or that rolls it’s eyes at you, and you get bitten……tough. You were warned.

36:06 the moment the older gentleman says, in a John Wayne-esque voice, "well.. we got him to smile for ya." Then, as this poor guard struggles to maintain his composure, he hears him say, "well, you can stop now." I think he meant that's enough smiling, and that did it. Poor lad had to escape this funny standup Grandpa voice before he lost it completely! A wonderful exchange, much respect for these guards, and those who respect them as they work🙂. Thanks, John, for making our day with this.
John, l'm realitivity new to your page. I'm a senior citizen of the age of 83 years old and l love what you do, it's quite apparent that you dearly love London. Your love of his Majesty's guards and their horses is wonderful. Because of you l told my children that before l die l want to come to London and hopefully meet you, l want to thank you for caring so much for the young men and women of his Majesty's horse guards. I have gotten to know most of the horses and l must tell you Radford is my favorite. I was a horsewoman until old age creeped up on me and now l can no longer ride, l miss it so. I owned the American Quarter horses and Arabians. I use to show my Arabians. I am not familiar with the Irish mounts that the guards ride but they are truly magnificent horses. Thank you John for your time and may God bless you always and keep you safe,the men and women of the Blues and Reds need you.....

From about 1:07 to about 1:16 struck me. The old world buildings, the reflection of the church in the rain water, the historic fountain, the beautiful sunshine always seems brighter after rain, and then, the brand new SUV. Such a contrast of the old world and the new world. Well done John! I quite enjoyed that.
Yes I love the buildings in this area of London. I used to live and work in London and if my work took me to this area I would enjoy taking time to stroll through to admire the beautiful architecture. I never really tired of it or took it for granted and there is something about the sun appearing after a short heavy downpour that made it even more beautiful and fresh.
Hence I really appreciated and enjoyed the first part of this video and understood John's enthusiasm as he waxed lyrical ❤

Excellent video John!! When you was walking through Trafalgar Square the brightness on the wet floor was beautiful just like as if it was glass. Yes a lovely day at horse Guards very friendly and respectful just how we like it. I once made a guard laugh, but nobody minded apart from my embarrassed parents. I was about two or three and I walked up to a guard stood between two guards on horses and said "got no horsey soldier?" Apparently, all three struggled not to laugh as my embarrassed parents moved me away from them. They've brought that story up many a time over the years - and this was in the 70s, so theres been a few years involved.
Well after the rain it was a beautiful day. Thanks John for sharing.

Your comment about the outdoor Hoover made me chuckle John because it reminded me of a favourite uncle of mine. We were all sitting on the grass at a model aircraft display, having a picnic when we finished he went to his car and got out a Hoover ( destined for a repair shop) and started to run it over the grass. a man next to us watched, fascinated, but with total acceptance as he Hoovered the grass.....😂
yet, crumbs would have helped the birds no doubt and hope he didn;t hoover up tiny insects. lol.. Hish eart was in the right place though.

Hi John. Socks vs stocking. If the white reaches to the bottom of the knee (hock) or higher, its a stocking. If it goes over the ankle (fetlock) but does not reach the bottom of the knee, its a sock.

Terrific images right after a rain. The pavement looks clean and even and the reflected images are remarkable. One day I’ll tell you a tale of parachuting at night under such conditions, when pavement & water look exactly alike from above. Thank you for this video. As for the rainbow, it knew it could not compete with you and just faded away. 😎

The respect is obvious not only in the people who retain respect but you can see it in the guards reactions as well. Don't let the "racist" groups annoy ya to much. I have never seen anything resembling racism on your channel. I have only seen you respectfully describe how some visitors to the horse guards are disrespectful towards the horse guards. Different cultures act differently to the horses guards. These guards and horses are at work preforming security to the king. Nothing racist about. These horses and guards don’t care where you are from, or what your beliefs are. They are there to protect the king!

So if you took us along on trips to other countries, especially if you could add a bit of horsespotting in each country, it would be amazing! I might even change my waking schedule to match those videos instead of always watching hours later each time.

Venus is such a sweet natured horse and Trinity, with such an easy to recognise face, with lovely eyes and an inquisitive nature is becoming a favourite of mine.
