- Tall breathtaking mountains, a verdant valley, and the gentle river Giri form the perfect setting for the idyllic Sri Badrika Ashram. Set on six and a half acres of consecrated land, the utterly tranquil ashram with a temple of the resplendent Sri Hari was established in 2011 by the venerable saint Om Swami.
It is managed by the Sri Badrika Ashram cum Charitable and Social Welfare Society, a non-profit organisation, and has greatly impacted the lives of the locals through various livelihood projects in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Social outreach programs such as a Scholarship Scheme for undergraduate education for the underprivileged, the Silai Kendra program, periodic health camps, and infrastructure improvement projects are designed for the economic upliftment of the community. www.omswami.org; sbahp.org
