      most pros/advanced amateurs dont use built in flash and use a real external speedlight in a softbox. unless your a beginner you dont use the built in flash. and they used the flash pop up button to make room for the extra C3 button on the back which is more useful

    An 16-55 f2.8 on an APS-C camera = an 24-70 f4 on a full frame. Which Sony sells for $600 less.

      @matthieutardan8510 Před 4 lety +4

      Good point, although this lens is not an F4 lens, it has a F4 equivalent for bokeh, but it let the same amount of light than a FF F2.8 go trough it so it's a bright and fast lens

    Sony is the compromised camera company. I've been through it all from the a57, a77, a77ii, a6000, a7s, a6500, rx10ii and rx10iv. They intentionally skimp on features in every single release so if you want everything you have to buy it all. The closest best do it all is what I have now. My a6500 has an on-board flash (which the a6600 does not), a much deeper buffer and play memories apps, which Sony has dropped from all future camera releases. I use the a6500 for normal and wide-angle stuff, reserving the rx10iv for travel and telephoto work.
    I'm really thinking about dumping all my Sony aps-c and jumping over to Fujifilm when they come out with a full flippy screen. I will keep the rx10iv as it is the ultimate travel camera, less the flippy screen, which of course, Sony will soon release after taking away something else! The final kicker is the lack of firmware updates so good luck with that too!!
