2 new cameras, 2 new lenses, which is your favorite new announcement?
B&H Photo Video a6600 with new lenses
My favorite is the new a6600. Really excited about the new ibis, new battery, headphone jack, and eye af in video.

12:12 "We have the AM/FM switch on the side." Wow. Now we can even listen to the radio while we shoot photos with this lens. Thanks, Sony!
WTH is a Professional Advanced Amature camera lol
The Sony A6600. Duh.
@@rm1825114 not shit funny guy it sounds as stupid as your comment
Nonsense marketing terms
Shazamm the iPad Producer it’s a joke jeez.
I’m guessing yea it is their marketing jargon for a camera that’s advanced, but not as advanced as full frame.
@@rm1825114 yeah they are trippin and my bad sir lol
"We like to put *everything* into the camera" - 7:40
lol
I was in marketing once and you just have to resign yourself to being a douchebag.
For me, I am excited for the 16-55mm f2.8. I've been salivating over every f2.8 zoom ever since who knows when. And right now that Sony made it possible, I want to forsake my stomach for it.
Funny he says the 6100 isn’t watered down except that it has the same sensor but doesn’t do 4K.. straight from canon’s workbook haha
It records 4K. It just doesn’t record in the HLG sand S LOG profiles that the 6400-6600 has.
He misspoke, it has 4k. The only software downgrade is log profiles.
He mean standard def for the picture profile, but still do 4k
correction - the 70-350mm lens is a 105mm-525mm equivalent. he misspoke and said it was a 90mm to xxxx lens.
how is a Sony rep supposed to know that ?!
Does it have battery grip
The grip is nicely integrated i into the battery holder. There is no external battery grip accessory available for this camera. >Mark
Do we get a battery grip?

@@BandH .....yet.....aftermarket will have one soon Im sure
"That's incredible"
yeah he said that WAYYY too many times. annoying as hell
@@sjsphotog lol when you're on camera and trying to make an effort to listening to someone, you get stuck on words. Sorry that you found me avidly paying attention annoying. lol
Nothing worthy to upgrade for from previous models. Unless you're buying it as your first camera, why not?
Can I use the Sony a6600 in the rain?
This camera is offering some weather resistance, but is not waterproof by any means. Take the necessary precautions when venturing out into inclement weather. >Mark
Why no built in flash on the a6600
Game and Play because external flash is better
most pros/advanced amateurs dont use built in flash and use a real external speedlight in a softbox. unless your a beginner you dont use the built in flash. and they used the flash pop up button to make room for the extra C3 button on the back which is more useful
No 4k60 in a6600 is a deal breaker unfortunately.
what about the brand new Canon 90D ??
Prolly still can't use LED lighting with these camera sensors. LOL.
No 4k60, no 10bit, the same 4 year old sensor and at $1400? Booo Sony
No. These releases are not next generation. I still love you B&H.
I have no reason to change my a6500. Almost same camera.
MrAlexeidr you might be to old
I just hate that they abandoned us Alpha Mount users and will have to start from Scratch on E-mount.
Yes and no because Alpha gear is dirt cheap!!!!!
Yeah, but we,re not getting the new features, mostly the ne AF Zones. My A65 only has 15
welcome to the present day...uh Alpha (A) mount was dead 9 years ago!
Godox, this is the propitious moment. Release your professional APSC camera, NOW!
It's should be 1100$ or 1200$
So same sensor, same IBIS, UHI, no front dial, no joystick, no 4k60, and they reduced the size of the buffer. This is a flag ship camera?
Damn! Why am I still shooting Canon?
Same sensor, same rolling shutter, same 4k30 crop, no 4k60, same card slot, same crappy screen and evf probably. Not next generation.
An 16-55 f2.8 on an APS-C camera = an 24-70 f4 on a full frame. Which Sony sells for $600 less.
Good point, although this lens is not an F4 lens, it has a F4 equivalent for bokeh, but it let the same amount of light than a FF F2.8 go trough it so it's a bright and fast lens
Check the prices of 17-55 f2.8 in Nikon or Fuji. This type of lenses cost a lot.
Technically it’s 24-82.5mm
@@andrzejjaniak6849 FUJIFILM XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR Lens 1200 $
I might be wrong but the apsc lens already calculated the aperture
Z battery is a big deal, anything else, ok
Is Canon aware of what's going on in the big world?...outside Canon's doors? 🤔.....
Sony is the compromised camera company. I've been through it all from the a57, a77, a77ii, a6000, a7s, a6500, rx10ii and rx10iv. They intentionally skimp on features in every single release so if you want everything you have to buy it all. The closest best do it all is what I have now. My a6500 has an on-board flash (which the a6600 does not), a much deeper buffer and play memories apps, which Sony has dropped from all future camera releases. I use the a6500 for normal and wide-angle stuff, reserving the rx10iv for travel and telephoto work.
I'm really thinking about dumping all my Sony aps-c and jumping over to Fujifilm when they come out with a full flippy screen. I will keep the rx10iv as it is the ultimate travel camera, less the flippy screen, which of course, Sony will soon release after taking away something else! The final kicker is the lack of firmware updates so good luck with that too!!
Rubbish cash grabs.
Sony.....hahahahahahahaha plastic garbage
If you have unconditional loyalty or hate toward a brand you're way too tribal. All these companies make good cameras and a good photographer can produce good images with any of them
Plastic? Lol
FAIL. "Professional Advanced Amateur" What a bunch of BS.
