- The Breville Combi Wave 3 in 1 claims to be able to excell air frying, microwaving and baking. But is it true? In this video, we're trying out the Combi Wafe Air Fry capability. Carolina is frying up some Kale Chips and Nuggets - will they turn out crunchy?

I'm glad you mentioned that it wasn't the best air fryer... I've had one of these for a year or 2 now and I do like it (especially like the oven feature if I just want to have 2-4 cookies fresh out of the oven but don't want to bake a whole batch). I don't use the air fryer much because it just didn't live up to all the hype I've heard about air fryers. Recently I had yet another person tell me that the air fryer is a game changer, so I was thinking about buying a dedicated air fryer. I think I'll probably get one after seeing this.
Please do more combiwave recipes and please review the device! How well does the air fryer work for your recipes?
Could you please put up some more simple recipes using all the functions. I'm two weeks in now and slightly confused by simple things - how to cook a burger, baking a cake, making a casserole for example. I feel like I've lost my oven mojo!

So this product is terrible. I purchased it based on this video and several others that claimed it was wonderful. The first time I used it was for an air fryer mode. First off you can only set it between 400- 450°F. Great! I have a recipe that calls for 350 so now what? It forces you to do a preheat and tells you to put the pan in. Unfortunately it does not stop to tell you to actually put the food in. It just goes right into air frying mode forcing you to stand there for three minutes waiting for it to preheat. Furthermore unless you hit the “a bit more” button, you will have to go through preheat again if you need to cook more. I cooked several items in here and none of them were crispy. We have a very cheap air fryer that is amazing compared to this. The microwave function is decent and the oven isn’t bad but I mainly bought this for the air fryer microwave combo. It really fell short of my expectations. I recommend saving your money.

You don't have to go through the whole process to add more time - just turn the time dial. Easy.
How well does it clean after a steak or chicken? Especially with all the holes in the burner above. ??💕

Lol! She didn't seem to be overly impressed with the nuggets either.
LOL, her mouth said "mmm" but those eyes cant lie. She was not impressed.
Do you double the time on all air fryer recipes?
if you set it to broil can you make toast, one side at a time?
I just bought one of these units. Do you know why the air fryer temp can be set below 400 degrees?
Tried out air frying chicken wings tonight in our combi wave and it took me around 25 minutes at 425 to get them just right.
Have you (or anyone else) tried just convection oven for the wings then grill to crisp them? I always wonder why no one in these videos ever tries that. In the video, her nuggets didn't look that great and neither of them seemed to be very impressed by the taste.

Try some slap ya mama, creole, seasoning salt, garlic powder, or onion powder. Maybe a combination of 2 or 3 of those for your seasoning... instead of salt and pepper..

Have you figured a way to use it as a toaster or just use convection and flip?
Surely you could do that on the air fryer setting. My air fryer has a toast setting. I think it’s 220°C for 6 minutes.
Why not try the full combo of all 3 at once , would cut the time in half.
How good is the Air Fryer function in comparison to the traditional Air Fryer?

My interpretation of this video is - no matter how much we smile and pretend, the machine is pretty hopeless
Not honest review, if a stainless steel pan for 15Eur does same work, then why use this crap? Temperature not adjustable?
