    Regarding speed, i gave up waiting for it here so purchased a Archer MR 600 to try against my Huawei B535. The top speeds are no better but what I have found is that the Tp link router gives a much more consistent speed. I now get 57-61mbps from a 4g sim, whereas with the Huawei it seemed to 'bottle neck' every few weeks and would drop the speed to 10mbps or less and then need a reset to get it back to speed. The TP-link does not seem to suffer this problem. Hope this helps the community with their router choices.

    It would have been good to have had a speed test from each of these units using the same SIM. Are you going to do this in another video?

    Maybe if you'd actually done a comparison download test we could have responded with some useful comments. I've just moved to an area with abysmal broadband and atrocious indoor signal, so looking for something I can connect to an exterior aerial. My thoughts are currently leading towards tp-link, but a speed test and consistency would be enormously helpful

      That's all you need to know
      Just looking at this review, as long as the bands supported by the Tplink device are supported by your internet provider, then I'd go with that.
      It's possible the huawei device doesn't even allow external antenna connections, so you'd have to hope you lived in a high coverage low interference 4G area...

    Bad experience with the Archer mr600 so far! I've been unable to get mine working here in UK. Over several days been passed up through 3 levels of TP LINK offshore support, it seems needs one of their top level engineers to try and resolve it ! Deeply frustrating as I need to connect for 3/4g as no landline broadband in new home location. Using my iPhone as a hotspot is struggling. Once up and running I was intending to add an external aerial like the Poynting XPOL-1 omni directional, to further enhance the signal.

    • @2008gagiudaniel
      @2008gagiudaniel Před 3 lety +3

      Hi. Since both these routers use a wireless connection (4g/LTE) they are not the best choise to use for online gaming. The connection latency depends on many variables such as how crowded the cell tower is, the whether conditions, the proximity to the tower, the use of external antennas or not and many more. It is not terrible but is worse that a wired connection, especially if you can get optical fiber connection. Most likely you also live in an area where you can't get a decent wired connection to the Internet and therefore you have to use a mobile data connection. I have been using successfully the HUAWEI-B535 and overall I can say that is very good for video calls and even online gaming if you don't expect lower latency than 22 ms. On CZcams there is a tutorial on how to trick this modem to agregate the fastest bands available on the tower that you will connect to. The TP-LINK doesn't have this possibility of letting you choose the best and fastest bands. Good luck.
