Zhao Xintong 11 years earlier: Destined to Become a Snooker Champion

  • Zhao was already very talented at age 13, as we all snooker fans know, but earlier this month he showed that he also has the required temperament to be a champion. Excellent news for the game.
    The statistics shown in the video correspond to the date of the match.
    Cesar Muroya created a unique editing technique to extract the essence of the game without losing the drama involved. Contextual information is also an innovation appreciated by viewers.
    This format is not intended to substitute the full version but make snooker more accessible to new fans. The fluency and atmosphere of the game stay in a shorter-length video, allowing even experienced fans to enjoy snooker at any time.

    its 12foot. bad camera is the reason, look at the legs. the 3rd leg is not at the end of the table. if it was 10ft it would be at the end as they only have 6 legs. 12ft has 8 legs :)

    • @CesarMuroya
      @CesarMuroya  Před 2 lety +3

      At 6:10 and 6:13, you can see that the size of Zhao's cue is nearly the distance between the corner pocket and the blue spot. That distance is 199 cm for a 12ft table and 159 cm for a 10ft. His cue is about 145cm long.
      Also, his hand seems too large in the baulk area (74cm for a 12ft table and 60cm for a 10ft table). However, perspective is always tricky, so I can be wrong.

    • @CesarMuroya
      @CesarMuroya  Před 2 lety +2

      Btw, some brands produce 10ft snooker tables with 8 legs.

    • @oldtimer5111
      @oldtimer5111 Před 2 lety +11

      That is definitely a full sized table, just think about it, why would a pro chose to play on a ten foot table when there will be full sized tables in that club. Look how far the lad spotting has to stretch across the table to spot the ball.

    • @stupidhuman897
      @stupidhuman897 Před 2 lety +13

      @@oldtimer5111 I have been playing snooker In many different cities of China, people play full size snooker table or pool table only. no one plays reduced size snooker table. I saw the 10 feet version in America before, but never in China.
      Yes that's right. Good players in China will not play with smaller table, even if it is available.

    • @haifengni2592
      @haifengni2592 Před 2 lety +2

      This is definitely a full size snooker table. I have never seen a 10 ft snooker table in China. Unless you are talking about the chinese pool table, which i own one.

      I know him for five six years. It was a shame to not see him on the business end of tournaments cause I remember how excited I was when I first watched him. I thought boy, this guy's like Ronnie. He was a fair bit quicker than now but I thought "What could stop him?..." He's gonna be part of the elite soon. And then he kind of disappeared although I watched a lot of Snooker at the time I didn't see him anymore. Out of sight out of mind, I kind of forgot about him until very recently... So happy for him that he finally came around cause so many promising young talents eventually don't produce for many different reasons. I feared he was one of those but luckily he came through he's just too talented to pass by unnoticed...
