That's not what she said. While in the White House, she choose to not wear natural styles to not distract from the work they were committed to doing.
She was ALWAYS comfortable in her own skin wearing her natural hair and in braids. . . ."other folks" wasn't and still isn't (that's why a law was recently passed for natural hair wearers).
Kelly, YOU have to let your guests finish their sentences 😳, don't cut them off in the middle of their explanations and stories especially when they're responding to you girl🙆🏽♀️. I love you!

I love Kelly Clarkson. She does talk over her guests too much and makes it’s a lot about herself. Just wondering if it makes the guests uncomfortable because it does to me just watching. Just some constructive criticism- still love you Kelly!

M. Obama complained in every interview, hated being in the White House and happy to finally leave the White House.
They are suddenly hoping you will forget all those insults and embarrassing ungrateful attitudes.
They spent billions of taxpayers money on universal health care when all they had to do was expand Medicaid.

Well, some people are more loquacious than others but it didnt reduce the value of the conversation. Kelly's style of interview usually comes off as two friends being really chatty. I enjoy it.

i know it's totally clichè, but i am glad i was taught early on how to knit, sewing clothes, baking and cooking, mending things. it's so freeing being able to rely on those skills, especially the making your own clothes part!

Kelly typically does allow her guests to speak without any interruptions I just think she tends to interrupt her guests more when there isn’t a lot of time so she can get a more “complete” conversation/interview in so little time.

I don't know if Kelly was talking so much because she's nervous or she just really wants Michelle to like her, but....she really needs to slow down and just let Michelle talk. It's almost stressful to even watch. And I normally really enjoy Kelly. unfortunately, she was just doing way too much in this interview. It's like she's trying to get Michelle to know her. Instead of letting her audience get a chance to know Michelle better.
I think Kelly did just fine, I’ve seen worse from others who are host’s of talk shows.
Kelly needs to learn how to LISTEN and be a good interviewer and host. Let the guest speak and don’t feel like you have to measure up in the entire conversation.

You noticed that too. I was trying to figure out who's interviewing who and we don't need to know about your sister and meeting Kelly sister just let the First Lady speak. I love Kelly's vocals but I don't get a chance to watch her show so I'm not certain if she's normally this way or not. They were competing to talk but your guess should be allowed to speak first and the most.

There is people, who can interview people like MO, and there is people, who cannot.
All upbringing whant's and wishes for our kids as parents are universal regardless of class now depending on how you were brought up in most cases you see value to it and wish to pass it on its not always easy most if it you will be charlleged if you have those who are in their Teens but you don't give up you try for they are listening..

I spent COVID time learning to make reusable face masks for Frontline workers, making marshmallows from scratch, making hot cocoa bombs, cutting glass, and using a power miter saw to make shadow boxes. I was one of the most Zen people. It's all about going back to basics.

Well to the critics about Kelly and how she does her show...are you on television? Do you have a successful music career? What do you do, really? Leave Kelly alone, she is doing fine. If her guests had issues, they would address it accordingly. Oh, and the show has gotten Emmys 3 years in a row.
