I have a 99 Z71 Sierra with 320k miles. It has had a transmission rebuilt but it keeps going. AC went out couple years ago but it's my hunting truck for the most part so i dont worry with it. Best engine i have ever had in a vehicle.
i have a 1998 ford expedition eddibuar, no cat, no pipes. just manifold and to be quite honest your f150 takes the cake for sounding the best in my opinion. i appreciate your vids and how you try to relate with others on their opinion. i hope that something amazing happens for you and you benefit from it. enjoy yourself out there
Man, I always loved the sound of that truck! My trick was I left the cat on and replaced the muffler with a 12" cherry bomb, worked like a charm. I really appreciate the kind words! I'm very happy so far, and things just continue to get better. I wish you, and all my viewers, the same success!
Should have just done a 3.5 or what ever to 4-5” slash cut but that’s what makes us “strange” rite lol congratulations on the rig you made the rite choice for sure!!! Dream world I’d love the new dodge interior in a that body style Chevy....
Quick word of advice if your lb7 has a stock fuel system up grade your fuel filter to a 2 micron (like a air dog or fass) the stock filter is a larger micron rating than the injectord I cant remember the specifics so the injectors can get pretty much clogged. Enjoy your truck they are great vehicles
@@StrangeGarage the problem is I live deep in the rust belt, up in Wisconsin... you can throw a rock to find a truck up here.. but if you want a clean one where there the bolt will turn if you put a wrench on it.. you gotta go looking south.
That visor thing might come in handy if you're ever cruising around with it halfway down (for some unknown reason) and you have a front end collision. When your face undoubtedly hits it, it will have a little give and only break your nose, instead of your whole face...maybe. That's not a flaw. That's a feature!
I’m not sure if that would help. Sure a Tacoma or even 4Runner could tow. However, there are limits and capability doesn’t mean practicality for towing more often. For instance, some places won’t event let you rent certain machinery if your truck isn’t at least a 3/4 or 1 ton plus steel frame truck. I personally have a 4Runner and it can haul everything I need right now. But my projects aren’t that big.
I totally dig toyota trucks, what I'm upset by is the price. I could buy 2 GMC trucks for the price of a comperable tacoma. And of course the duramax tows like a savage. Money permitting I would love a Tacoma.

Really clean truck man and I like how you talked about the options and why you chose it. Drive safe.
This decision took me years to make, hopefully someone in the same boat could benifit from the information I gathered.
Nice truck, I think the Ford Ranger is better!
Congratulations! May it serve you well!
First mod that chrome tip exhaust tho!!!! Lol good looking truck bro I’m GM for life!!!
Lol, I put that on. I did an exhaust vid already, just isn't edited.

Hope you still have a Ranger to flat tow your GM "truck" home and make a bunch of how to repair your GM "truck" videos.
It was really hard to swallow buying a GM "Truck". I'll probably get another ranger now that the green bastard is down the road.
Can I have your green bastard
you didnt let the glow plug light turn off -___-
Nice truck bro. I was planning to get an duramax too soon.
I dig it. They really are nice trucks! I hate how much they cost though (you know how cheap I am).
I went to the Phillipines in 2018. There were new Ford Rangers.... EVERYWHERE
I want one, but I don't want to abuse it like I would. The Sierra can handle it I think :)
I want that truck.. though I would be happier with a Gas LS 6.0 or 5.3 since Im not towing much of anything.
They arent too expensive compared to the diesel. Nice trucks for sure.

Say hi to me
Hi.
You should’ve looked at the Toyota Tacoma
I’m not sure if that would help. Sure a Tacoma or even 4Runner could tow. However, there are limits and capability doesn’t mean practicality for towing more often.
