I saw Marty Wilde play in Sunderland in the mid 70's and the set up was the same. The band played an introduction and then he came on. That time they played Nutrocker. I met him at the end of the gig and we had a few drinks together with the band. He was a cool guy and as I was just beginning - I got a few tips from the band on playing. Great night.
