I'm not Irish or South African, but to go away a win against the legitimate World Champions, and only loose the week before at altitude, is a hell of a thing to do. Ireland and South African have proven themselves to be very difficult teams to beat. Full stop. Not many sides would have a chance to beat both NZ and SA in a 3 match series, if this was a 3 match series.

South Africa and Ireland are both coming into transitional periods. I think Ireland seem to be managing the personnel change rather than style, I think though they will need to evolve at some point but they are so efficient that it will be a while before the rest of the world catches up, South Africa well on the way to getting their with the coaching and style change. I'm not saying Ireland are necessarily the best in the world but their coaching system is formidable, on paper this Ireland team should not be winning, missing key players, full of players from consistent chokers Leinster and away from home. However, they came and implemented a flawless game plan against a bok side with a dominant scrum. Rassie and South African rugby are very clever getting Brown and Flannery in to overhaul their attack, winning a world cup by the thinnest of margins is not enough if they want to be on top and they know it, the pain you Bokke feel now on losing is worth it for the gains ypu will receive in four years time.
Moerat and Van Staden are not Bok material players and offer little to nothing off the bench, Van Staden concedes the dumbest penalties too. Then we have the hwadscratching Kwagga starting at 8 call for back to weeks when it proved disastrous 2 years ago vs Australia
