This room it wose monochromatic and now is so colorful, the wall tatoo is gorgeous and the fairy lights are so beautiful. The shelf with the mini journals looks so good.
I totally understand your joy. When my children moved out, I got a whole big bedroom for a craft room. My husband put in 20 feet if countertops and we went shopping for old cabinets. I even found an old watchmakers/repairs desk. I decorated it with Tim Holtz fabric curtains and in a beach theme. So, yes, I definitely understand your joy!

I loved our morning walk! I wish I could be there in person... I have to walk a lot as part of my recovery from hip surgery, and having a place like your local gardens would make it easier with all the beautiful sights and sounds.
I'm redoing my craft room again, and taking a cue from you, this morning I added lots of plants and fairy lights - you would be proud of me! Hi Barbara- I really enjoy watching your channel and love your craft room vlogs…as well as JJ Snacks! Wallpaper true story: I drove by my old house recently and found a box on the curb which had 9 partial rolls of the wallpaper that the builder used when the house was first built years ago. So thinking about what you said…I rescued it! Happy to say my decor tastes have changed but so glad I saved the paper from the bin! 😅❤

You know Barbara, I never say things like this in comments or on social media because...I'm just a private person. But about an hour ago I had a full on anxiety attack. I do struggle with anxiety and this was frustration over my physical disability which is giving me an especially difficult time right now and my partner was like _get into something that distracts you in the best way and makes you feel good_ (this is a regular practice for me) and I said _yes, I've just pulled up one of Barbara's videos and will get a little lost in her creative journaling_ So... thank you I really *do* feel better. Oh, and I couldn't agree more... *everything* is better with gold spatter on it.

Shaping up very nicely. My favourite solution for a blank wall over a bed is something in fabrics ;a tapestry, quilt or even a wall hanging from India or Egypt in soft or neutral tones. You can even sew a beautiful large scarf on to an old blanket and hang it.

I’m so very happy for you in your new, playful and lovely space! It’s especially interesting to see a symbol from Native American tribes here in the US on a wall half a world away. The meanings of the symbol are perhaps not the same in both places, but still it is purposeful and beautiful. I was fascinated to hear your string of three dream catchers came from Egypt! Barbara the squirrels they are brown!!! We have only gray once, once in a great while you will see a black one. We have a family of albinos here in my neighborhood., just one family. Chestnut trees are no longer around here either. My most prized item from my dad is a chestnut he gave me when I was a child, it's silly but it is in the right drawer of my desk and it always gives me comfort when I see it.
I also wanted to tell you I love your walks around your BEAUTIFUL area. I can't walk anylonger (not well) so I am living thru you on your walks. Thank you so so much for sharing your life with all of us!!!!!

Barbara, your craft room is so beautiful, what a lovely calm space. For your bedroom wall I have seen a sheer curtain hung just behind the bed with fairy lights attached behind it and it looks very pretty and almost magical when it's done well. You can never have too many fairy lights (when we camped we filled our tent with them and it looked gorgeous) and gold splatters. I loved going on the walk with you too, it's such a beautiful area to walk in, I'm so pleased for you that you have such a beautiful space, and I love that we all get to experience it too.
