I'm an ex scca member, ex old school sports car racer amateur of course! I just wish they'd bring this type of racing to the United States I've watched when it used to be Australian V8 Supercars! I love to see the way it's progressed. Please the governing body if you read this, allow these boys to race! Rubbings racing I'm glad to see some marshalling come into it, however trading paint bumping grinding as they say rubbings racing. Let these boys race! Thanks for the video

Thanks for the highlights. I don't have TV reception or a streaming service, so these snippets feed my long-time Supercars passion.
Back in the day, when I had TV, I would set up my big (metre tall JVCs) stereo speakers either side of my chair, crank up the sound, and watch the races in full stereo. Ah, those were the days. I do pay for a month of Kayo just so I can do the same for Bathurst every year nowadays.
How old am I? I was a 14-year-old kid, annoying Dick Johnson at Lakeside in 1977 when his 'pit garage' was a tarp on the ground, a big marquee, and his trailer. That was when he was racing the Blue 2-door XC Falcon.
Watching this race live on Superview was an experience. So much was happening in such a short amount of time.
Awesome to see the V8s back home and even better to see the holdens win.. but i've always said the Adelaide track is a little small but it does make good racing for sure.

It's ridiculous isn't it? I saw my DVR saying it just recorded the Bathurst 1000 on the 1st, which of course would only be highlights, coverage here is trash. I dunno if it's Foxtel or MotorTrend but one of them suck, I even paid for the MT app thinking I'd just stream it from my phone, pfft. So glad they have it on here live if you want to pay for it, I canceled my MT app until next year for WEC, since the TV station shows whatever they want at least the app shows the races in their entirety.

Yes there is obviously way to much profit in LED lighting to be able to sponsor an event like this from a company that is unknown to many.
THey say they are carbon neutral so that probably just means they get subsidised by the government and have money to burn.

There is still a lot of people in this main game that have been around for quite some time, that are still not good enough to be there. Im sure there is better talent out there. Overall, it will make for better racing if these wannabes are replaced. I wonder if I used the right bait?

I would like to see a V8 super car race with a standard Tesla around the track be interesting I still recon the V8 would win just
With the way the v8 can take corners the Tesla wouldn’t be able too keep up
At full throttle, the tesla would barely finish 3 laps.
they've done a test. the tesla is faster off the line.
having said that a tesla battery would last a lap or 2 at this intensity. the weight of the battery will also effect cornering.

i think it's impossible to single out a single driver. track was slippery as anything, everyone was sliding off

Yeah ok Cam running off at 10:01 was probably caused by the condition of the track, but not the incident at 10:08. That was just Cam having yet another brain implosion.
I used to go to this race every year and I usually save up for it every year ok stop using me for a fool who ever has stolen my stolen phones and accounts ok your not going to get away with what I know your trying to do
