Although I haven't had hives, I know that they can keep you awake at night. Sometimes the hives get SO BAD you can't move! Just a quick note: hives and allergic reaction treatments cross paths for one thing - an epipen, which can clear up hives in SECONDS!

I remember being maybe 5 or 6 and being excited that my mom and siblings had gone Black Friday shopping, so I knew they were coming home with the goods. They had already brought in what they bought and locked them up in my parents work room so I took a quick snoop in the car while I was out back playing in the snow. I looked inside our van and saw a HUGE dollhouse and got SUPER excited. I was like oh hell yes, it's going to be a good Christmas. Once December rolled around I even noticed the telltale box outline of various barbies under the tree. Well. I went from being so freaking jazzed for over a month to being completely heartbroken on Christmas morning because that doll house was for my niece and I had gotten a skateboard that my sister wrapped in an old box that held a dish set so I got tricked not once, but twice 🙃 😅

As someone who’s missed Christmas and New Year at the hospital.. this is relatable
Here’s a funny story: so a few days a go I went up to this little apartment we have in our hanger, i went up in their to video call my friend, and on this little table was a box of 4 fake beyblades, in this rectangle box the size of a quarter of my leg, and I knew their were four because a few years a ago I got that some box, and got it again, and this is the third year I’m getting it, luckly I lost everything that I had from it.

This reminds me that one time when I guessed I was getting a Nintendo switch for Christmas by looking at the exact size and shape of the box and it was my first time in my life ever seeing a Nintendo switch box

Yesterday my Mom took my sister to get her a haircut & my Dad was making a table in the garage so I was basically home alone. I saw that Alexa had a notification & I didn't want to spoil myself so I didn't see what the notification was, so I forgot about it & 2 hours later when I went outside to get some air, I found one of my gifts on the front porch.

So I had just gotten rid of a skin condition I'd had for 3 years when I got new pants and wore them without washing them first. Next day I woke up and both my legs were covered in bumps. Thought the condition was back and cried but nope the bumps left within a week :) We call them "stinging nettle rash" in my language.

I found this book interesting - How Dad made me a superhero. My 7 year old read this quite a few time on just 2 days .. He's actually overcoming his little fears and open to explore the scary situations. I happy with this book.

I haven’t had hives but one year I had bronchitis. Another year the family was all together, aunts, uncles cousins. Whole gang. I got the flu, pukes and all Christmas Eve. Then I gave it to them. The gift that kept on giving that year. 😅

I had something similar to this. One christmas my parents got me SO excited about Christmas, on christmas day I got the biggest migrane EVER. I was also throwing up and couldn't look at any light and any noise I heard made me throw up. I ended up going to hospital the next day. I had to be put on a drip and the doctor gave me medicine through the drip as I couldn't swallow anything without throwing up. I stayed in the hospital overnight and felt much better the next morning. I got discharged out of the hospital and went home. I finally got to open my presents under the tree just as soon as I got home.
