    How can u rinse 20 times a day? Are oyu supposed to get hourly in the middle of the night to do this?

    I tried salt water it burned the crap out of my mouth it was like putting salt on a wound...because they also cut my ligaments that attach from my lower gum to my lower lip

      The surgery doesn't hurt at all if the doctors numb your mouth and do it correctly. Although it doesn't hurt during the procedure, it does hurt after quite a lot. Just wait it out and you will be fine. Good luck:)

      wildthang32 thanks for your replay because i kinda nervous did they put you to sleep? and how long did it take? because the dentist said i need my teeth deep cleaned

      purple sassy they don't put you to sleep. Unless you can handle the anesthesia. If you cant handle it, than they give you a IV which will put you alseep fully. The procedure mostly lasts around 30 minutes to 1 hour. But if it's not too bad, than just 10-20 minutes.

      The surgery was completely painless. Didnt hurt at all, but the pain afterwards on the gum graft was pretty irritating, not unbearable. That pain didnt start to get better until the 4th day for me. This is the 8th day after my surgery and its not too bad.
