Yes great idea, but iphones are supported for 7 years meaning you can keep till 2027 and it will receive ios 18, 19, and 20 so yeah. Iphone 12 pro or 12 pro max is what im saving up for and planning to keep it till sep 2026, when the 18 pro/pro max comes out so yeah
@@levilivesforjesuschrist I have an iPhone 13 Pro (sierra blue) 128gb. I was planning to upgrade to the iPhone 15 Pro, but I was not very happy with the color lineup. I will probably wait for the iPhone 16 or iPhone 17 to come out

I still use the 12 Pro Max and have absolutely no issues on the current iOS. It only runs a fraction slower than the 15 Pro Max and battery life is still decent. The only reasons I’d contemplate upgrading is for more storage and USB-C compatibility. Other than that I’m fine with what I have for now.

120hz is something you don’t even realize youre missing out on. Once you see it you cant go back

@@lorep7412 I had a 120hz samsung for work too, while I had the 12 pro. Now I have 15 pro. The apple display (ik its made by samsung, but I think its due to software/hardware integration) is way smoother. Way more noticeable

I'm still rocking my iPhone 12 Pro Max with absolutely no issues! While I would like to have the 120hz refresh rate and the better cameras, my current phone is still fine. I might finally upgrade next year, especially if/when Apple finally changes the form factor.

as someone that got the iphone 12 at launch, it’s holding up great! I can’t notice a difference in speed compared to the 15 even when side by side! Battery life is okay, though to be fair my battery health is at 82%. I don’t plan on upgrading anytime soon

My wife just upgraded to 15 Pro max and I still have 12 Pro Max. I do have to say the camera is waaaay better on the 15 pro max. I didn’t think it would be that much different but it is. I am considering upgrading now.

A company selling a successful product is criminal? You just want them to copy whatever Android is doing and make foldable to make you happy. Foldables serve no purpose. Research has found that people use the front screen more often then they open it when it comes to folding phones. It’s a gimmick
I don't mind the design because apple knows people are only upgrading 3-4 years mostly now so why make major design changes every year. Also the iphone design ain't bad so why change it every year.

I made the choice to switch from 12 pro max to 15 pro max. I had no major concerns with the 12 at all, but i felt it was finally time for an upgrade. The added storage space, battery life, and 120hz upgraded display was enough to make a difference to me.
You couldve gotten all of that with the 13 pro max lol

I felt the same. Hardly a diff from my 13 pro max. I just happen to find a seller who sold me an iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB for $1050 and it was brand new and activated the warranty before my very eyes and was a completely legit phone 😁.

I had upgraded to a 15 Pro Max from a 12 Pro Max but had sold it as the 15 barely had any differences and my 12 was still fine. I’m back to using my 12 Pro Max and may upgrade when the iPhone 17 or 18 comes out as I think the 12 will last a while
Don’t know how opening apps and then waiting for data to load after the app has opened already is a speed comparison. That’s just going to be variance on the wifi download speed not the phone (which is why we saw both phones loading at different rates). Even though they’re the same distance from the router, wifi speeds aren’t consistent second to second and vary a little bit.
You can see iPhone 15 technically “opened” first at least from every example I can remember. Just the data loaded second sometimes. This could definitely just be variances in when you press the icon.

I took the plunge and upgraded from my 11 Pro Max. I am rocking the 15 Pro Max and Apple 🍎 MagSafe Battery Pack in Otterbox Commuter Case. I absolutely will not use my 1200 $ phone without a case I know I’m going to drop my phone at some point I need that protection. I have not noticed heating issues and I am loving the upgrades especially the camera ❤

Have a wifi router on the left, one on the right. The only connected device should be one iPhone for each router. Same Internet provider and speed for both routers. Equal routers, too. Symetrical room with left and right equal. Nick Ackerman centered in front of both phones.
The 12 is on wifi only and the other is have service and wifi. Does that make a difference?

I ACTUALLY JUST UPGRADED TO THE 14 PRO MAX SILVER FROM THE 12 PRO MAX GOLD..AND MAN I SEE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! SCREEN REFRESH RATE, DYNAMIC ISLAND, MUCH BETTER CAMERA!!! PROBABLY NOT UPGRADING AGAIN UNTIL THE 16 ULTRA!!!
As a 12 Pro Max user it’s funny to me that this has been the go to model that CZcamsrs are using to compare it to the 15. My phone is used a ton for photography so I will likely upgrade just for the camera improvements alone. USB 3.0 will be a nice bonus.

I have a 12 Pro Max, and I was looking for a reason to upgrade. I was expecting only, at most, a couple of seconds faster in performance, so only new hardware features would be the reason. Do I care about the 120hz screen, better camera or USB C? Hmm. There's also the dynamic island, bigger battery and always-on screen. I also found out that there's now a new battery setting for the iPhone 15s to only charge to 80% so I don't have to babysit my charging all the time. Now thinking about it, all those new features do sound pretty compelling.

I was temped to upgrade from the 12 pro max that I got, but have read loads of comments from people who got the 15 saying that the front glass marks very easily, where I’ve had my 12 pro max from new, its constantly fell to the floor and hardly got a mark on it, even fell from top of a ladder when I was going in attic and hit metal steps coming down and not a mark, yet people saying micro scratches on iPhone 15 pro max from just in there pockets

I have a 12 which ive had since December last year. Its not the worst and not the best, but honestly they could have added 90hz display on base 15 model so that it feels a bit more pro. But if u dont care about dynamic island then its not a big concern considering the 12 is 3 years old and has a few more years left. Probs could get 15 plus or pro max in the next two years so i could get myself a decent upgrade.

Just retired my XS Max for 12 Pro Max and love it, I just refuse to pay $1k for a phone it’s not necessary.
Yeah as a 12 Pro Max user my only 2 complaints at the moment are:
1. 4K CZcams tends to lag a bit when switching phone orientation or while interacting with the app.
2. I have to manage my storage regularly because I’m almost maxed out on the 512GB model.
Ideally I’d like to upgrade once there’s a doubling in CPU and GPU performance and a doubling in RAM. Admittedly an upgraded camera along with the promotion display would be nice, but it’s just not enough for me at the moment.
Honestly it’s nice to see that after 3 years I haven’t noticed any performance hits due to updates or my battery life degrading. My iPhone 5 and iPhone 6+ felt almost unusable after 2 years due to those issues, even my iPhone X started to show problems after 2 years though not as bad.
Maybe the 16 Pro Max will be enough of an improvement for me, but if it’s not then the only way I see myself upgrading is if my phone fails.
I’m not really sure too if I need to upgrade to 15 pro max from 12 pro max, but Verizon is offering $800 off toward my 12PM if I upgrade, so I’m upgrading. At least I’m not paying the full price.

Got the 15 pro max on launch day and in my honest opinion if you have the 12 or 13 pro max it really isn’t worth upgrading, and most definitely not worth upgrading if you have the 14 pro max unless you just have to have the newest iPhone out.
Just try taking 5x photos and 10x photos u will see the difference.

I can't justify upgrading from a IPhone 12 Pro to a 14 Pro or 15 Pro as the change isn't really beneficial. I still have 88% battery health after 3 years.

I love my iPhone 12 Pro Max I’m currently typing this message on it, but now I’m thinking of upgrading because I cannot type anything or play GarageBand or music apps when my phone is plugged in with any cord even a headphone cord with the adapter, the screen glitches and it’s literally unplayable and I can’t make music with that all glitched out
