Creators get things early so they can showcase things, before ow2 released some creators got to play it early to showcase and some creators rn have the new pink mercy to showcase the skin. The showcase is probably to allow the larger community to have their opinions early which could probably help them see what needs to be fixed

@Julian-rv5mh we take what we can get, plus the problem with suzu is not its healing output. It's that it heals (a lot), makes the target immortal, makes the target intangible, cleanses status effects (and heals more when doing so), and makes the target immune to most cc (was changed in this patch, no longer immune to hard cc such as earthshatter). It's the combination of all of these that makes suzu so oppressive.

Cass’ current power kinda all comes from the last couple seasons making his gun really good. Mag grenade was cheap and having homing hinder for the past 7 seasons was annoying af. Not fun to hit, not fun to get hit by. Glad they changed it, Cass is definitely going to be worse this season, but I doubt he’ll be bottom tier trash.

@@zookboy5714 i don't know if the shatter on the ground is counted as a hit or a light stun, but probably i think that if you're invincible by the suzu, you still can't get stunned and suzu doesn't clensess already stunned teammate, we should ask Karq about this in a future mythbuster

Before these buffs she was just downright unfun and less valuable than majority of the Damage roster. Even against shields she was very squishy due to her lack of defense and charge up times. If she can't even be the best choice in her niche, ideal situations then they need to rework her...Again 🙈
I feel like if they do they should decrease the buff to her beam charge rather than completely revert it because there were a lot of situations with here where you just couldn't get beam charge because by the time you did they would already be dead or it would lead to you dying.

Really wished they lowered down reaper's footsteps sound and removed the voiceline when using shadowstep to make him a more viable flanking option cuz there's better options for tank busting now
enemy players don't hear the shadowstep voiceline. In fact, shadowstep is generally pretty quiet for enemies as far as movement abilities go.

Footsteps matches the role so it wouldn't make sense too dampen the footsteps and his voice line for shadow step can be mitigated by good positioning
@@vegitosaysalright2365 I've literally never heard an enemy reaper say anything while teleporting. Tp has whooshing sounds, but I can find nothing on the voiceline actually playing for enemies.
@@cyberfish6507Ive heard it. If he teleports he will say "flanking". its really stupid bc as a backline support player the amount of times ive heard that and either immediately killed him or knocked him out his ult is crazy. I always thought it was very stupid.

I'm honestly super surprised they didn't touch him at all. They had that Reddit AMA about a month ago where one of the devs said they were in the middle of talking about the "friction" between LW's damage & healing, and that they'd like to give him more "flexibility". Hopefully, it'll be in the mid-season patch?
LW and Reaper need another look soon, the buffs are nice but I think we were expecting some different functionality. I'd be fine with losing 20 damage on shotguns if they had like a 3 or 4 degree spread instead of 6. And the weapon swap speed on LW I think doesn't need to be changed, but what should change is how fast each weapon auto-reloads when put away, having to wait 3 seconds after emptying thorns and switching to blossoms instead of being able to do so fluidly feels bad.
no one wants to play vs LW. he is horrible for the game as he cannot miss and just creates a boring loop lacking most of the skill
@@jacklesser6902 If you healbot then yeah. Otherwise, his abilities have a lot of weird applications and interactions that make him very fun to play. Also, Thorn Volley is difficult to aim, but absolutely should be used to get the most value with him.

that's not the meaning of a curse. That's a plan that is being carried out.
Maybe I'm nitpicking a bit but I think it would help to get a real idea of the before and after comparisons if you used the same targets/ areas to demonstrate the abilities. For instance at 5:20, I would've liked to see how the reduced charge up time affects the overall damage using the Roadhog like you did for the previous patch.
I'm surprised they even touched Reaper. But they better not say "Here it is folks, I'd say this is a good enough rework as promised 👍. Our work here is done. Now let's go buff anyone else except Reaper"

@@randoidgames1004Folks complain about Hanzo too much, up close and far away he can still take nearly all of someones HP away on a headshot and with any form of boost can still one tap.
Just have to play him a bit more as a mid range character rather than a full blown sniper or going super aggressive with only headshots. Do that with proper storm arrow usage he's still a decent threat in the right hands and can take 1v1s even if he underperforms compared to some others.
Gotta say the Cassidy rework for his ultimate is very underwhelming. Was hoping for something totally different built from the ground up
The cheaters make his stats very high, so he will be repeatedly nerfed like he has been over and over like ashe, widow and hanzo too.
2:08 It's not a "flashbang" then (not that ever really was) it has and is now once again a concussion grenade. No idea why they don't change the name.
Iirc they originally wanted it to be an actual flashbang, but decided not to blind people for visual clarity's sake. Plus the name stuck so it really isn't the biggest deal.
flashbang and concussion grenades have roughly the same effects, just vary in intensity/activation/purpose, but even then sometimes the naming convention gets lost and they are used interchangeably. Besides, OW already has a couple abilities like "concussive blast" and "concussion mine" so it helps limit confusion.

Damage reduction ramps down, but movement speed ramps up. By moving faster, you avoid more damage so it's like damage reduction anyway while also being more lethal

Tbh I'm disapointed about the change they made this season (only good thing rein shatter buff). Now I got a good reason to just delete the game and move on

suzu still makes you intangible, which means NOTHING has any effect on you while suzu'd, but it does not ERASE the effects of shatter/rock/stomp AFTER you've been hit.

Probably because they buffed the functionality across the board. Fr Magnetic Grenade was alright for burst damage with the 70 damage but the Hinder didn't really do much other than irritate anyone who isn't a flanker. Now that it removes crouching and slows by 50%, follow-up shots are going to be INSANELY easy to land. It's gonna have the feel of old Flashbang where you hit it and just line up a free double headshot.

As a kiri main I’d say these changes are very fair, suzu was able to do too much for an ability and the swift step cooldown will warrant smarter and more cautious plays. Plus I love my rein players, y’all need more love

The push Mode is already fast enough when either you get rolled or roll, tops 2 minutes, and they are reducing the time even more?
Not being able to one firestrike a pylon is going to be quite frustrating (either have to commit both or can't destroy out of melee range)

We’ll see how Soj performs this season. Really hoping the “power shift” in her kit takes her out of being hard meta. Shit gets stale seeing her everywhere except metal ranks. But who knows maybe that primary fire buff is just op.

@@AnakinSkywalker-gw2xv How many situations have you been in where the Pierce actually mattered? It'll be rough for tanks that don't have barriers maybe but otherwise I've never seen the Pierce effect have that much impact on a match. Especially now that the damage is being lowered.

For rein mains here ( who have been shafted for ages now) would you like fire strike to inflict same damage but add a burn effect that slows for a few seconds but can stack if you hit the second fire strike also? I think it could slow enemy’s to get easier pins and also slow other large targets - just my opinion
Why do the devs love Orisa so much she gets subtle buffs almost every patch until she becomes meta again
I want to see the stats that tell them she wasn't surviving with one second longer CD on Spin. The rest of her kit, and plenty of burst healing, shouldn't have moved the needle that far.
Idk why they felt the need to rework her when she was practically a 5v5 tank in OW1 like Sigma.

It does a lot less damage now, headshots only go up to 150 damage (so no oneshotting Tracers any more) plus having an even lower minimum damage threshold, in exchange for faster charge rate and piercing.

So, you might be behind your tank for example, as cover. Then while you have idk 70% of your health, you get one-shot by a random sojourn blast that goes through your tank.
