I Painted My Rusty GQ Patrol in an Audi Colour...

on today’s video, we finally spray the patrol and reveal the colour. It still needs a lot of work (sand, polish, barwork and more) but I wanted to show you guys how it’s looking since it’s been a while.
The Patrol:
-TB42 Carby GQ
-Nardo Grey

Thanks mate, the covers were on it when I bought it, and I’ve driven the car for a total of 40 minutes so I couldn’t really tell you if they’re any good 😂

That’s pretty good man, I was a panel beater by trade and at my shop If a customer came in and asked for a respray it would be upward of $5000 atleast depending on what car/ colour due to labour cost etc so diy has saved you heaps ahhaha

Good colour choice but man, that prep work and spray technique needs a lot of work, a quick youtube video would have shown you how to drop paint like a boss and the smooth finish would have been heaps better!

What lift and tyres are you running.
haven’t measured the hub to guard but I reckon it’s probably about 3 inches higher. And just some mismatched 35s like every carby GQ
