Regarding whining noise, i had very similar noise on mine and it was the rotor. It is a common failure on FZ1.
Thank you for excellent clutch inspection video! Best on youtube. About to take apart mine as it is slightly “gripping” even when cable fully disengages it and after watching your video i have a pretty good idea why that might be the case.
Hope you solve your issue 👍

Did you replace the rotor inner and outer bearings? I've seen those go bad after replacing the rotor.

I mean they "say" you need to change the nut. But personally i use it a few times.. The concern and the reason they say that is beccause when you lock it on by denting it like these do. But in the real world you can use that nut a few more times. Like when im at the track i had to pull a clutch basket and i just simply made new locking dent spots. Generally they wont be in the exact same anyway when you reninstall the but so it should be fine. 1:13

hahaha right, I'll do this with axle nuts and stuff like that, at work. I always get paranoid when it comes to my motorcycles though lmao

Today I went to see an FZ1 2009 to buy it, but the clutch made a noise, when I squeezed the handle the noise disappeared, could it be the needle bearing?

it could just be clutch related if it changes when you pull the clutch lever in and out. I highly doubt it would be the needle bearing, but maybe more clutch disks, But its really hard to say without seeing it first hand. These are all just guesses

Good question, I believe its to hold the judder spring in place. But I don't know for sure. Also got the bike tore apart today for something else and I believe I found the culprit of the whine noise. Wont know for sure until I get it back together, been battling heat and being sick, but still have a lot of work ahead.

Hi! Did you fix the noise? Was the needles bearing?

No, It may be normal. Check out my last video in the series and you can see what you think. I've got a little comparison to another FZ1.
