I’ve only used Meyer for 2 seasons now but so far I’m impressed. My only negative is I think the hydros are a little slow.
It’s rigidity is awesome and the cutting edge hasn’t worn much. It can back drag pretty well too. Maintenance was fairly simple too. I watched their CZcams video on how to do the hydros. Putting dielectric grease over the summer is a good move.

awsome plow, I have had mine for 6 years now. I never had an issuse. Bought a second one 3 years ago for another truck they are great.
Richard Conley I have 4 super V2s and that's my second set of four. I had the regular super V's and once my warranty ran out, I was able to sell all 4 with ease at Great Value. My second set of four only cost me $9,200 for the Super V 2s... very reliable. Yes the Hydraulics are a bit slower than DD but it's a matter of a quarter of a second which is not going to save you time in the long run even. They've been around a long time and have a lot of feedback which I am not biased and I've ran a bunch of different brands but I did come back to these because of the construction I was told of and sure enough, heaviest Mall board for an 8'6"... 1300 lb with the curb guards just on moalboard. Put it next to an MVP 3 and you're going to laugh. I have not ran them so I cannot Markham but the mall board can easily be punctured with that small of gauge steel. It's like a pop can and an even sounds like it if you listen to CZcams videos you can hear it

Easy mount not so much. You sit on the plow (facing the truck) put your hands on the two light bars and PUSH forward and lift the whole assembly -- throwing out your back. And you hope that the locking pins are aligned - which they are often not. After four winters the plow is getting rusty.
The plastic motor cover works well to keep out the elements and no electrical problems. Still working well, although a PITA to mount. The oil tank is plastic with a metal drain plug - well that got stripped immediately so I have to replace the tank. Good electrical plug seals
Plow works great, no leaks, no other issues. My older meyer plow kept breaking the frames. The lot pro is holding up to my 2009 F350 diesel.

You may find some relief by adjusting the height of the jack accordingly. OffTheBeatenPath aligning the pins is a PITA, I agree. Although, do you use the jack? My advice is to drop the plow and the frame (important) on 2x4s when storing. It makes it easier to hook back up because you won’t need to jack as much.

I bet that piece of shit plastic foil lasts 2 hours
