Great video brother... best mic that won't break the bank is the rode k2... through another tube preamp... the k2 is clean and the the tube preamp will warm up the vocal... i use the combination of k2 through a blue robbie preamp and it sounds like butter. 👍
I have used the rode nt1 and it sounded pretty good as well, but I never heard of this one.
The rode nt2 is the best affordable mic in my opinion but u can even do some nice work with the classic AT2020 with good mixing

I’m trying to start rapping and have a very aggressive style with loud vocals, do you think a Lauten audio LS-208 would work? I saw a singer using it and don’t know how it would handle my voice, very new to how microphones work. Any advice would be appreciated!
Make sure you run it thru a preamp and yo should be good. That’s with any mic you use.

@@TRICKSTR423 well you don’t need one to record most interfaces have one built in but they are trash depending on how much you spent for it. The preamp give the vocal some color and your able to control the peaks before it hits your interface.

That’s a good mic- I used it years ago before I really knew how to mix. It’s warm and don’t have a lot of noise. I would use that for rap/trap dirty mixes
Honest opinion on WA47 Jr?
Fire 🔥 quite microphone. It will get the job done for the price. The cheaper the mic is, the less you can crank it up.
@@Dahomestudio fire just copped it for home studio with minimal treatment (moving blankets and reflection filter and some foam)
@@AGETheGawdYT thats all it is- put that mic in a good treated area and you good. Make sure you mix low
