Type 1 diabetic here. My pancreas produces little to no insulin, so I have to take insulin. I take a short acting and a long acting.
Lantus is a long acting insulin. One of the effects is to reduce the amount of glycogen released by the liver. Glycogen converts to Glucose. Since my body doesn't produce enough insulin, that extra glucose released by the liver would not be able to enter the cells. Thus raising my blood glucose levels to abnormally high levels.

Shame it isn't mentioned, that Lantus has the highest IGF-1 conversion

Systemic I believe and systemic doesn’t really mean anything for gains

Insulin imo I worth it but only if you have the established muscle
And time spent getting mature muscle imo it just puts more water in the tissue and pushes out and you eat more it doesn’t appear
      To help
With muscle gain this is why Samson doesn’t respond well to Milos ideology Samson has the muscle he doesn’t need to water it down he needs more of it and to make it tighter…. Works for some to put size on but it doesn’t have that same rock hard look at Milos dosages anyways

    **MY WAY TO USE INSULIN:**
** The reason for me to use insulin is in the bulking fase, so I don't burn my beta cells out in my pancreas.**
This makes it possible to absorb a super physical amount of food ( low fat food )
    **MY PROTOCOL:**
In the morning I start taking my fastet glucose befor anything.. water anything. Then I see if my blood glucose is the right amount if it's to high I add Basel if it's to low I subtract Basel insulin.
    **First them i take :**
0.11 IU pr. kg of bodyweight Basel insulin aka long / slow acting.
    0.11 IU x 90 kg = 10iu Basel insulin
Befor every meal I measure my blood glucose. Then I'll see if my blood glucose is the right amount, if it's to high I add Bolus if it's to low i subtract Bolus insulin.
If my blood glucose is lower than 4 (72) I'll do not take a Bolus injektion, but wait until next meal.
    **Then I take :**
1 IU pr. 40grams of carbs I eat.
    100g carbs / 40 = 2.5 IU Bolus insulin
The thing with insulin is that you don't want to use to much, less is more. If you use to much you screw up your insulin sensitivity and just become fat.
    Typically you don't want a fastet insulin higer than 4-7 ( 72-127 )
And a Basel use of 10-40 IU
And a Bolus use of 1 IU pr. 10-40gram of carbs.
Because your own pancreas works. We will not have to worry about our blood glucose getting to high, like let's say over 7-10 ( 127-180) then our own pancreas will kick in and begin to produce insulin.
If you do experience your blood glucose going higer, your properly pre. Diabetic if your not doing something els that can effect your insulin sensitivity.
This is the way I do it.

I was told you measure insulin in units and growth in IU but aren’t they the same unit of measurement like ML to CC like 10 units is the same as 10 IU or is it 10 units is equal to 1 IU just curious

I know a guy who is very massive, he had very developed abs with a thin waist, and a flat stomach, he took insulin with hgh, and well 6 months later he still had a low body fat rate, but he had a thick waist and bubble gut. It looked like he had a watermelon in his stomach all the time. Very weird

Did the so called godfather of Insulin just say He never even tried lantus? If this is true He lost his godfahter Status for me. Nothing makes you as full as Lantus. Compare 100iu lantus to 25 iu pre and Post short acting the short acting doesnt Stand a Chance also the igf boost with hgh is superior on lantus.. His therories in honour but if you never even tried it you cant judge it.

@@aljoschageller4183 Lantus is also amazing if only used on weak body part days + heavy carb loading. Milos is dead wrong on this. Lantus has way stronger affinity for the igf receptor and it's food that makes you fat not insulin. Milos basically said you would get fat even in a kcal deficit on lantus. Makes no sense and there is a difference between a replacement dose of 10-20 IU to save the beta cells and not have high blood sugar vs blasting it hard daily.
