- We recently got back from an action-packed 4 days exploring some of the best things to do in Iceland in winter. The country is home to some of the world’s best waterfalls, hidden caves, magnificent glacier trails and so much more! We visited Iceland during the month of February, in the peak of the arctic winter, and it was truly a winter wonderland experience.
Whilst the weather was on our side for the majority of the time, there were a few things we didn’t manage to see due to the unpredictable conditions. We had such an incredible time exploring this unique country and will be back soon! We hope you enjoy our Iceland travel guide and find inspiration to plan your own Iceland winter trip. We visited the Blue Lagoon during our time in Iceland but unfortunately were unable to film. We highly recommend spending half a day relaxing in the geothermal pools when visiting!

@@ToucanTravellers do you happen to have any suggestions on what to see in the Northern part of Iceland? We’ve got Dettifoss, Myvatin, Godafoss, and Asbyrgi Canyon on our list so far. We’ll probably do a glacier walk/atv at some point as well

Another great video, never been there looks great, thanks for making travel videos that are some of the best i have seen. Try Hanoi North Vietnam, Lang Prabang Laos, or if you wont some thing near home try Lundy Island, all worth a check out.

So helpful and honestly exactly the kind of video I was looking for - will make planning for our trip much easier. One last q - for Northern Lights, did you find that they’re harder to spot on your own or you think dedicated tours are a waste of money and they could be seen anywhere/comes down to luck? Thank you!
Are you planning on renting a car? If so, a tour isn't entirely necessary. Hopefully you'll get to see the Northern Lights whilst you're there. You need luck most of the time, but be sure to check for high solar activity. that's a lot of cool waterfalls, were you able to see the Northern light?
We saw them twice, in Reykjavik and in Selfoss. We couldn't capture them on video, but got some nice photos! :)
What is the name of the backing track in first few minutes? Been dying to find it for a while now.
Hi there, i'm not too sure but we get our tracks from Epidemic sounds. I think it was under the genre of 'adventure' or something along those lines!
